24/7 Title is, in my opinion, currently the second best booked title on RAW. Every single player involved has a part in the story.
24/7 stuff is quite often the best part of the show.

As with so many things The idea is fine WWE don't know how to make it fun DDT have kept a title like this going for years I genuinely approved of the idea of the 24/7 at first because it gave them an opportunity to do some of the crazier stuff they wanted to do. It just never happened. Like, you know what would have saved the Zombie match from Extreme Rules? If a Zombie won the 24/7 title and everyone was too scared to go after them because they’re an actual zombie who might eat them. Or go higher budget Crash Holly title defense with it and go to wacky places like the fun fair or the mall or wherever was a part of the city. Go nuts. I know I keep going on about it, but imagine if WWE tweeted this past Saturday that they wish former 24/7 champion Kate McKinnon the best in her post SNL career? That just felt like the easiest thing to do while the belt was on there and it’d be the first time a WWE title changed hands on NBC for decades. Like, yeah, some of the stuff is there now but nobody involved is going to benefit much from it when it’s all over but that’s a problem with a lot of title belts in WWE. |
