Does anyone know what Yammer is?
I work for Home Depot and we have a social media called Yammer.
I am trying to build a long term leadership program in our company (I know...lofty goals)...so I've been posting a few things on Yammer to get started. Someone I clicked a link that said like 15 people are following me. Most are district people, which is probably pretty good as a start for my idea so I can get in touch with them. I know a few of them in person but not on social media.
Now that I go back and check I can't find this spot that said these folks are following me. I'm pretty much computer illiterate except for the basics. I just want to make sure these "higher ups" actually took the time to "follow" me so when I try to present them with my ideas, they know who I am.
Edit: Google directions do not seem to be correct, so please don't say "google"

The company I work for have been pushing Yammer on the staff for years, and about 150 people out of the 30,000 that work for them actually use it.
Still, to (hopefully) answer your question, click on your name in the top-left corner (it should have links to "Home feed", "Inbox", and "Communities" or some variation of that list below it) to go to your profile page, then somewhere you should see "Followers" followed by the number of followers you have in brackets. Clicking that should bring them up.

For the most part it was a lot of bitterness type of posts but has gotten better the last few weeks.

If you don't post "Stop. Yammer time." Then what are we doing this for?

It sounds like a fake social media website on a TV show

I seem to recall my organisation - a Government department, no less - used Yammer as a resource to improve and encourage staff interaction. I think that everyone was either too indifferent/wary to use it as they would their own social media, and the whole thing just seemed to be quietly dropped.

I'm another that has it at work but very few use it. I think just the LGBTQ+ group seem active in it.

Apparently all large or semi large companies use it, mine of 14500 people included. If someone held a gun to my head and asked how to use it, I wouldn't know how. A couple of years ago, it was down for like three days with the single sign on federation broken, not one ticket got put into our help desk, which tells you how many people use it.
My personal favorite is when they wanted to hold town halls on it, and called them, "Yam Jams."

The company I quit a couple of years ago used it. It seemed like a corporate Facebook to me, although there were a few fun groups that were worth checking out.

I actually thought it was just something for us, like we sell "hammer's" and chatting about a hardware store is our "yammer." So I was surprised that it is something bigger. I'm not someone who wants to move up the corporate ladder, I like to train others to do that, but it's neat seeing some of the "higher ups" like my posts or following me.

Hoping someone may have an idea to help me. I clicked on "try new yammer" on my home computer. The page then starts flickering a logo for "real secureID access" and just keeps flickering the logo. So now I can't access this site from home as somehow it also happened on a lap top in the house.
I can probably do it from work since maybe their severs accept the BS real secure thing versus my 10+ year computers. But this site is what I enjoy doing when I'm in between packing orders for my home business. You all can see I'm a dummy when it comes to internet, so hoping someone has an idea.
