Apparently they can cut Carr with no guaranteed money, so his ass is grass. The bromance with Adams is going to be kaput. It'll be interesting to see if there's any fallout, because Adams went to Vegas in large part because of Carr.

We’re not talking about Kenny Moore II threatening to hold out if his deal that still had two years left on it wasn’t renegotiated (Ballard refused and Moore’s play would have made any renegotiated salary overpayment). It’s more logical for him to expect to renegotiate because he’ll be in his last season of his current contract. Odds are the Texans will either give him an extension or trade him to someone who will.

Tunsil is almost certainly going to get traded. I think it would be a decent enough move for the Texans actually.

I mean probably but if they don’t want to give him that top T money then they’d be good to get a bunch of draft picks. Who is the top QB in this class? Bryce Young? Stroud? Someone else? Whoever it is if history is any indication the Texans will take the wrong guy. lol

I wouldn’t say I’m worrying just yet but I can see it on the horizon with the eagles. They surely on paper should beat the saints with Gardner at QB. If they don’t then yes I will start to panic. The momentum is off.

NFC could be mighty juicey for drama in the playoffs: Eagles: QB not at 100% Vikings: *gestures broadly around* 49er's: will the Alliance to stop PURDYMANIA find victory? Bucs: Brady = Drama Cowboys: I mean, DRAMA might as well be their middle name
Any other the other teams that could sneak in would be drama. A team with a losing record going to the superbowl? It's possible. Imagine the Lions doing it. Pure insanity. But yet the Lions are so god-damn hot right now that it could happen.
The AFC feels a bit more cut and dried: Kansas City, Bengals or Buffalo. Everybody else just kinda feels like a "hey thanks for playing, see ya next year... maybe"

If the Cowboys are the 5 seed and they lose in the 1st round, you think the NFL might think about home field being decided by the team with the better record, not seeding. What I mean is if you are in a lousy division and you win it, you are the 4 seed, you get a guarantee playoff spot, but that doesn't mean you get a home game. I have been a pro opponent of that, should the Cowboys be a victim, perhaps the Cowboys and the media will complain, they might consider that. And for those that say you should reward division winners, being in the playoffs with a god awful record is reward enough.

If they didn’t do that when the Saints lost to Seattle and the Beast Mode run, they likely never would.

Want a home playoff game, win your division. Just like in all sports, division winners get priority over wild cards.

Home Field is one of the few perks of actually winning your regular season division, especially now that only first seed overall gets a bye and everyone else has to play the Wildcard Round, so no, they will never do that.
