The idea the trailer presents of Harley being just another patient at Arkham when she and Joker meet instead of her being his psychiatrist is a different take, I'll give it that.

I liked it! Still not really sure what to expect from this movie but that first trailer was well done.

Eh, looks like it could be stupid fun. It’s not gonna be something super-profound like so many angry online kids thought last time.

I’m very much enjoying seeing Lady Gaga’s progression as an actress. Because, turns out she seems to be quite good at it.

In a sequel to the 2019 fiasco, media will hype up fears that the Joker sequel may very well lead to singing sprees at movie theaters.

Gaga is drawing me in-I'm tired of dark, and a friend told me the last movie was VERY dark and depressing-I like to see there's seemingly hope in this one

They already had that at the Taylor Swift concert movie, believe it or not. Joker 2 is gonna make it worse.

Yeah, I'm more eager for this now than I was before. It's still going to take a LOT for Gaga to replace Robbie.... I know, different world.... but still.

If this movie turns out to be anything more than two hours of delusional visions all in the mind of an institutionalized Arthur Fleck, I'll be stunned. Not a single second of that trailer has swayed me from this theory.

Not a single second of that trailer has swayed me from this theory. No no no, there is absolutely no way this movie will just be two hours of delusional visions all in the mind of an institutionalized Arthur Fleck. If I know anything about modern movies, I know this, it will be THREE HOURS of delusional visions all in the mind of an institutionalized Arthur Fleck. Three and a half when they release the director's cut on Blu-Ray.

I don't know if Phoenix's body can last another movie after this. He really puts it through the ringer doing a movie like this where he loses so much weight. Looks like a fantastic movie though, loved the first. Obviously a lot of what we see is built of the imagination of both leads, curious though just how much actually occurs outside of the asylum.

Yeah wouldn't be shocked if the movie ends with Harley analyzing him and she gives a nod that she is falling for him like the normal story goes...

I absolutely loathed the last film but the idea of a musical with Gaga as Harley was almost enough to sway me back.
Between the 50s jukebox news (making the musical aspect less exciting) and the trailer I am no longer swayed, I don't need more footage of Phoenix smoking dramatically, and nothing about this convinces me it'll be a good take on Harley.
