This is just for fun. I had thought of this. How would you do a brand split in WCW? Like who would you have exclusive to Nitro, and who would you have exclusive to Thunder? Also, would Saturday Night still be a show with low/mid-carders and jobbers, or would it be a recap show? Would it be like how the ECW brand was in the later 2000s before inventing NXT?
Again, this is just for fun. Who would you have on the shows?

This as what they wanted with the NWO right? For NWO to have its own shows and PPVs. They did one and it was terrible.

1999, this would be my top 12 guys on each roster;
Nitro: Hogan, Sting, DDP, Luger, Benoit, Hart, Piper, Jarrett, Bigelow, Hennig, Vampiro, Douglas
Thunder: Goldberg, Nash, Hall, Flair, S. Steiner, R. Steiner, Savage, Booker T, Vicious, E. Guerrero, Jericho, Raven

Didn’t they sort of have a soft brand split in ‘98 or thereabouts? I seem to remember that for a time after the NWO split at least, Nitro focused more on NWO Hollywood while Thunder was the Wolfpack show.

"For the first pick in the first round of the WCW/nWo draft, Nitro chooses... El Dandy."

"For the first pick in the first round of the WCW/nWo draft, Nitro chooses... El Dandy." For analysis, lets turn to guest correspondent, Bret Hart. "He's a heck of a wrestler and a jam-up guy."

I would've made Thunder a cruiserweight show.

Nitro is the NWO Hollywood show.
Thunder is the NWO Wolfpack show.
The twist being that the NWO are heels on Nitro and faces on Thunder, so you have more WCW faces on Nitro and more WCW heels on Thunder.

I just thought of something. While this was more of early-to-mid-2000s thing (and the latest being 2007), as well as I believe 2016 and 2017, if WCW had made PPV shows exclusive to certain brands, it would be like this:
Souled Out - Nitro (or just NWO like the first incarnation was) SuperBrawl - Multi-brand Uncensored - Nitro Spring Stampede - Thunder Slamboree - Nitro Great American Bash - Thunder Bash at the Beach - Nitro Road Wild (or if there was another August PPV) - Thunder Fall Brawl - Multi-brand (if they included War Games) Halloween Havoc - Nitro Starrcade - Multi-brand
For November, if it was World War 3, multi-brand, but if it was Mayhem, then Thunder.

They gave up on the NWO PPV thing way too quick. WE were all robbed of an epic Hollywood vs. Horace Hogan feud for control of NWO Black and White.

I've always thought the idea of an NWO branded show was legit one if the worst and least well thought out ideas I'd ever heard of in wrestling history.
How could that possibly even be pulled off and it not suck? A whole show dominated by heels? Would they ever lose on the show? Why would they let that happen? Why would the NWO even allow WCW guys to be on TV with them? Such a shit plot.
