dark humor aside, I am going to stay optimistic on this one and not as a fan of wrestling but someone who is always up for an evil white guy downfall party i am ready to hate like a hater has not once hated before I'd rather not tie it to social politics, personally, and just leave it as "this particular dude has been proven to be pretty skeezy". That said, I wouldn't disagree with you, it's not like he hasn't had it coming, for an absolutely unfathomable amount of reasons over the past few decades. I don't know what else he could do, given he's already been accused of so much already, from selling steroids to affairs with hush money, questionable ethics in hiring to covering up deaths. He could definitely top it all, if anyone could find a way it'd be him, just for the sheer "I don't care, I own everybody"-ness of the bubble he lives in, but it would have to be something horrendously bad and simultaneously not padded and protected by a bunch of legal paperwork that says he didn't do it, and if he did then he didn't do anything wrong, and if he did it wasn't his fault, and so on... |

Ace can take the fall on this one, but the report is that other NDAs are being looked into. Now even if Vince paid out of pocket for all these hush deals, if there's a long-termenough pattern of conduct, and if promotions and raises seem to be happening that raise suspicion with those women, that could open up enough for Vince to actually take some kind of fall. If there is enough and there's people on the board who see enough room for opportunity, this could add up to enough to sink him by sheer scale.

Count me as one of the people not hoping for more horrible stuff that has nothing to do with pro wrestling...This isn't a TV that we are waiting on the reveal of...This is real peoples lives that have been effected and I hope there aren't a lot more skeletons. (Extremely wishful thinking). You can hate that these situations occur period without "defending" Vince. |

I really wonder if Steph stepping down has anything to do with this. She is literally on the board that will be investigating this incident. Maybe she was warned this would be coming out. Vince has been extremely lucky throughout the decades that he has not been "me too'd". It's common knowledge of his various affairs and even drug use back in the day. It was bound to catch up to him. I was thinking the same thing....Very possible this was brought to her attention and she stepped down. Speculation but certainly falls in place. |
