I doubt anything comes of this. If I've learned anything from 30 plus years of watching, it is that Vince always skates. 100% my first reaction. He'll get away with it with no repercussions (again). If this weren’t a publicly traded company, sure. But investors can’t turn a blind eye to stuff like this. I don’t see how he escapes without at least some kind of censure. I’d be shocked if Johnny Ace survived this. |

And it's not like this is new behavior, either. Vince has been using his power to make female employees kiss him on television or be in storylines with him going back years. Decades. What if it actually was a power play by him to get control of the company I don't know if I'd bet on that, but it does smell a little bit leaky, doesn't it? Somebody trying to get revenge, or get power, or get Vince out of the way. But this is Vince McMahon, WWE, and the wrestling industry we're talking about. People might think I'm nuts for changing my opinion. But after thinking about it and reading the full story according to Fightful, I'm changing my mind. I can't defend Vince McMahon. This sounds legit and not made up. He gave this woman a promotion while he was releasing talent. That is disgusting. If it is true, I hope he pays for this, but he probably won't. Nah, it's admirable to change stances once you feel more informed. Good on ya. |
