I've almost always enjoyed her in-ring work, never been a fan of her character work but she's definitely talented enough to be worth trying to get imo. As for her temperament when it comes to creative...Wait and see how that'd pan out I guess.

so here's the thing: Sasha is an incredible performer but she has a long history of "that doesn't work for me brother" when she doesn't get her waynot sure if I'm Tony I bring her in Yup, I posted the same concern in the WWE thread. This is a legit worry especially given the recent MJF debacle (whatever the hell is really going on there). I hope Sasha's alleged behavior doesn't follow her. That said, after the Jeff Hardy fiasco, Tony Khan needs to be tougher on his talent. He needs to be their boss, leader, etc...and not a friend or super mark.

I do wonder if (again big if) going to AEW where they want you to be creative, would reinvigorate Sasha and some of the attitude issues would disappear.

Would be a massive get for AEW to get one of WWE’s four Horsewomen. Personally I think Sasha is the best in ring of the four and would fit right in if her attitude is right.
Her v Rosa, Jade or Baker are big matches no doubt. Also did she ever have any notable matches with Athena in WWE? Or Toni Storm?

If the release is true they have lots of time as she isn't going back to WWE anytime soon (she will go back eventually). She isn't going to want to be just another talent like most of recent women signings, yet her coming in to take the top spot and The Brit Show becoming The Mercedes Show is a step sideways.
Lack of time is the bane of their women's division, Khan is unwilling to cut any of the overloaded male storylines and signings he's created so the solution to getting women's wrestling on tv is creating more time, be that a second hour of Rampage or getting a TV spot for the Dark tapings.
So come to a handshake deal where she gets brought in at a time when her potential can be used to its best and in the meantime she can further explore acting, do one off appearances in Japan, Impact and super indies for a nice chunk of change and heal up her beaten up body which could do with 6 months or so by the pool

Yeah, Tony would hear her out and try to work with her more than she ever got in WWE. I'm not sure if we can be certain she would have problems in AEW until it happens.

I don't really like her as a character, but I'm not blind, she's a superstar, and Tony should offer her any amount of money she wants.

Can we use work names here until she has an official new name? Its confusing when there's already someone named Mercades around AEW.

Sasha would be a great signing for the star power, but a horrible signing in every other respect. The division is always criticized for how Britt and Jade are pushed at the expense of everyone else. Sasha would be even worse, imo. She'd be the biggest female signing, bar none, and with her star power comes a certain expectation, that she'll be THE face of the division. How are people going to feel when spots they think should go Kris or Ruby or Toni or whoever go to Sasha? And the only reason I'm not concerned about her pulling a diva act the first time she doesn't get her way is because Tony Khan will most likely give her anything she wants. Don't get me wrong, I love TK for everything he's done for the wrestling business, but he has a tendency to get star-struck by certain performers, and I see Sasha very easily being someone Tony will fall in love with as a performer. She'll be able to ask for the moon and he'll give it to her. All I'm saying is, everyone's fed up with Britt and Jade, it'll be about ten times worse with Sasha.

You can't not sign her.
But maybe make it a short contract to see how things go...

Sasha DID use to work as Mercedes KV before the WWE signed her. But sure, until or unless she ends up in AEW, I'll refer to her as Sasha for the purposes of this thread
