Sorry if this has been asked a lot guys but looking to get in to AEW after years of not watching wrestling and wondering where a good starting point would be? Preferably not too far back as i'd like to start watching on a weekly basis. Thanks

It depend, how do you plan on watching? If you have fite I think following from their last 2 PPV is a good choice.
If you are looking for a quick catch-me up videos I can post a few too.

Start anywhere, honestly.
Just start watching next week.
My journey with AEW is that I would occasionally tune in for a select few favorites. But, over time, those favorites grew and now I watch every episode and I rarely skip any segment.
If you find something that grabs you, it’s as good a start as any.

If I were you I would honestly just start with All In, then work through the beginning years. I can't quite remember if there were certain "bangers" of matches in that time frame, but watching the whole aura of a new, viable #2 promotion start up is pretty incredible.

I'd watch some build-up going into Double or Nothing, the most recent PPV, and go from there. The World title is on hold due to injury so it's more or less like a reset button has been pushed anyway.

I'll give a bit of a different suggestion: start with this guy's videos.
They're both (the Cody one sadly didn't get done due to his departing for WWE) amazing cinematic synopsis' of two of the most significant storylines that culminated this year, and they'll especially get you caught up on Who Is Hangman Page And Why Should You Care About Him. Then catch up with the last PPV or two and you're good to go.

I agree with the idea of just starting from now. After a bit you’ll independently discover stuff you want to go and watch. I hope you do! I have never enjoyed watching a wrestling company as much as this one.

Yeah that's the best way to watch any new promotion, if there's someone you like from elsewhere we could recommend their best work in aew. While just start from the last dynamite is good advice just keep in mind they're in njpw crossover mode so don't right it off based on finding that hard to follow.
