Seeing Dave Hebner and Tim White passing away in the same week. What is it that Vince has against referees going into the Hall?
They were as just apart of the show and some of these guys gave like half their lifetimes working for the company.
Was there like a memo released ages ago stating specifically no referees allowed?

There should be some kind of special award for the behind the scenes people. You know, reward the lesser people that make WWE for what it is...
Oh well.

the wind from the audience clapping will knock them out for up to ten minutes at a time?

Because Vince doesn't want to.

Isn't that what Ultimate Warrior suggested before the Warrior Award became what it is? And basically referees aren't part of the show and you shouldn't know who they are, despite there being good and iconic ones throughout the years.

Yeah, that would be nice. Given they honor other talent for things that don't relate to their own screen presence. It's too bad they had to twist Warrior's message to fit their narrative. It's basically just a publicity award for WWE themselves. Never liked it.

I mean respectfully they aren't THAT well known. Hebner, White, Robinson, Chioda. And that's really because people recognize their faces more than their "performance."

That's what Ultimate Warrior wanted with the Warrior award. An induction for behind the scenes people.
Then they made it a big charity thing for PR purposes.
I'm not saying those people didn't deserve a special moment or anything. I sympathise with everything they're going through. But let's not get it twisted. WWE know what they're doing. It's all exploitation for their Public Image. These big corporations are all the same.

Unfortunately, thanks to Danny Davis' shenanigans, all WWE referees have received a lifetime ban plus 10 years from getting into the hall of fame.

They allowed one so far. Guess you need to be a GM of Smackdown as well.

Earl would probably be scalping tickets in the parking lot to his own ceremony.
Give us Tommy Young, Joey Merela and Dick Woehrle [legacy] in the Hall instead.

And a lot of those things are terrible but this was one thing I actually agree with him on. So many people who worked for the WWE for decades deserve recognition : Tony Chimel Jim Johnston Ray Rougeau Jean Brassard Harvey Whippleman Mark Eaton Steve Lombardi Kerwin Silfies Shit, even Kevin Dunn Just a few off the top of my head and that’s not including Refs.

They were also called out by their names on the ones you mentioned who were active. Now it seems they stopped referencing them by their names on TV due to some weird ultimatum by Vince.

Which is so weird when you look at any other sport and see how important officials are to a game and what their calls can do for a game. And wrestling, WWE in particular, not doing that just feels weird in the storytelling sense of how they are.

They could just announce that they put them in without having an induction, like they did with luna

And wrestling, WWE in particular, not doing that just feels weird in the storytelling sense of how they are. I mean Andre winning the title was centered around the referee.. and the weird Dave/Earl switch job besides that Nick Patrick vs. Earl Hebner during the Invasion was a selling point... even though it was clearly neither of them were going to have a great match... Bryce on the Indies was a character everywhere which is kinda how he ended up in AEW, Aubrey in AEW, Red Shoes in Japan, every promotion has had referees with personalities and stories behind them... so Vince randomly deciding that they should be phantom stage hands makes no sense.
