29, an argument could be made, though at that stage, getting an Undertaker match was also considered a really big deal, so it wasn't like he was chopped liver. And imo the best non HBK and HHH undertaker mania match. I’ve watched it live and have watched it back since then and it still holds up.

I think WWE did not book Punk to the level he should have been at the height of his popularity (the fact he never got a clean win against Cena during their rivalry was wrong, and him losing to Triple H in their match made zero sense). But he shouldn't have been anywhere near the triple threat at WM 30. That was Bryan alone vs. the Authority, and adding another 'outsider' to the mix would have diluted the theme.

Not 30, but he should have been in the main event of 29. Cena v Rock v Punk would have made for amazing reactions. this Punk earned the right to main event the show of shows that year with his monster title reign before dropping it to The Rock

Nothing to get all bent out of shape over, suddenly 9 years after the fact. The bigger affront to me is that Undertaker vs Sting wasn't booked a year later

Not to mention the entrances would be great. It would be the definition of a DREAM MATCH.

Can't see it. 29 was his best shot if he ever had one, but his booking at the time was subject to WWE's reliance on part-timers like the Rock and the general existence of John Cena, worst wrestling character ever.
