I don't think it will ever get the credit it deserves with the immediate aftermath but the Mox/Omega barbed wire match is one of my favorites in the history of the promotion.

Divorce the match from the post-match let down and it's really good and full of the drama you need from this type of match. There are tons of little bangers that Kenny had in the first 12-18 months of the company. Janela, Fenix, and didn't he have a fun couple of matches with Kip Sabian, too?

He had probably the first great empty arena match with Sammy too on the first pandemic Dynamite.

The moment where Mox puts his foot on the ropes to have the explosion break the OWA pin should be a part of AEW lore of never say die moments. Instead It is never mentioned because of the matches finish.

Instead It is never mentioned because of the matches finish. Not even its finish, its aftermath. It's a shame because the whole match is in fact great, but it doesn't feel like a complete product due to a clever use of a stipulation for an aftermath that didn't work out in practice.

Underrated - The whole Daily's place pandemic era. Sure I get why people don't want to be reminded but they handled the whole thing so well and out of limitations came some fun creativity. Something relatively low card like Best Friends Vs PnP getting such a high profile is much missed.
Overrated - Not overated per se but there's a whole bunch of go nowhere wastes of time which I don't think are criticized enough. Callis Vs Bucks taking months to get back where they started, ftr's weird stuff like the brush with greatness thing. Still haven't learned with the tnt title picture also rendering any development pointless.

I never like the term overrated because you can't really define what you're overrating something compared to so, with this, I'm just not going to use it.
I do have 3 underrated matches, though. In no real order.
1) Men of the Year vs. Dark Order (Uno and Stu); The fact we never got a one on one Sky/Grayson match is a genuine crime. Their chemistry was off the charts and if they would have booked a TNT title match between the two, I'd have been there with bells on.
2) Gage/Jericho; The fact we got what was essentially a deathmatch on national wrestling TV was insane and frankly, it was a lot of fun. Jericho was willing to go all out and when the light tubes came out, I wondered if I stumbled into a different universe where Turner S&Ps were more flexible. But no, this happened in our reality. Not something I want to see every week but I was happy Gage got his barbwire wrapped flowers on a big stage.
3) Cody and Red Velvet vs. Jade and Shaq; I feel like we underestimate how much of a Nowinski/Jackie vs. Bradshaw/Trish-esque disaster this should have been. The feud was Brandi and Shaq having beef, Jade and Brandi beefing, Cody and Jade having...something, I guess. Velvet slotted in despite having barely any matches on Dark, Jade having zero main show matches and Shaq being in his extremely late 40s, it should have sucked. The fact that not only did Shaq get built like a beast, Cody was able to make him look like said beast and Velvet and Jade still to this day have shockingly good chemistry together is a testament to everyone involved. For as great a talent pool AEW has, if you told me during WrestleMania 34, I'd be excited about a potential Shaq match in 2022, I'd have checked your drink and see if you needed a cab (since I watched it in a bar).

I feel like MJF and Jungle Boy from Double or Nothing 2020 has been kind of forgotten. It was really, really good.
