I’m not into the whole NJPW thing so this’ll be a pass for me. Might tune in for Bryan and Christian, I suppose - but I couldn’t care less about Mox/Tan vs Jericho and the Jolly Red Jobber.
I for one am very much looking forward to AEW moving past this NJPW thing. I like compelling storylines and I feel like all the NJPW is severely lacking in that department.
Hope those of you who enjoy it have a great night going into the PPV

I know he's lost big matches but he's also one of the few people in the company to actually beat Moxley and win a belt from him, so I wouldn't consider him a Jobber. I will enjoy the night though, thanks!

The Forbidden Door swung open and apparently a bunch of the wrestlers were standing right behind it considering the widespread injuries.
My biggest hope is that Danielson's announcement is accepting ZSJ's challenge and not that he is off the shows too.

I really hope Malakai wins! Given the CMLL thing I don't see how Penta has any shot...

I really hope Malakai wins! Given the CMLL thing I don't see how Penta has any shot... In a perfect world there would be total synergy between AEW, New Japan, AAA, Impact, and RevPro.

I'll watch but this might be the selling point for the ppv for me. Already pretty low on funds atm, so the show is going to need to sound unmissable to me in order to buy it Sunday.

With Danielson, I wonder if its a case of him accepting a match with ZSJ for Forbidden Door but taking himself out of Blood and Guts. Just the way they list both shows separately in the graphic has me thinking it.
Kayfabe wise he wants the title of best technical wrestler in the world, but no longer has time for going to war for Eddie Kingston. Could drive a wedge in the BCC and set off a few interesting sub plots for the coming months.
And in reality a technical showpiece against ZSJ does not bring the danger for further injuring any niggling injuries he might currently have, which BnG most certainly would.

Depends on what the injury is. If it's a head injury, keep him out of everything. If it's a limb, you can work around that in a spectacle match like Blood and Guts, especially if he's one of the later entrants.

If Danielson isn't in Blood And Guts, then the substitute needs to be HOOK!

Christian gonna Christian until it ends with him getting stabbed in the eye with a dinosaur tooth in a grudge match with Jungle Boy.
Extra credit: the tooth is still in Luchasaurus's mouth.

Hope we get a few more matches for FD set up tonight because while good it is definitely lacking.
Maybe a Young Bucks match? A Darby one?
And please let Bryan be ok

Reading the tea leaves, I’m expecting Okada tonight.
Possibly Omega too, but definitely Okada.

I hope they correct some of the mistakes they did the last time they were in Milwaukee like micing the crowd properly and actually putting a proper go show finale(the bar is quite low which was Shotty running in last year lol).
Forbidden Door stuff ends this sunday, I understand why some dont dig this but its ending 4 days not 4 months...

Toni just gets some momentum only to be lumbered with Marina Shafir. People moaned about them but I'd much rather see Bunny or Ford.
