Ariel, what does the future hold for Big Show's title reign?

So like when did these first become a thing? Who was the first person ever to have a bit where they were like "Mirror mirror on the wall, what was Duke Hudson thinking when he shaded Solo Sikoa last night?" 

It's so corny and I hate it but also I love it cause it's that kind of f***ing super cringe you can only get from this business.

I just see this and think, yeah, Death would suggest change, and therefore, probably that Big Show would lose the title, but I sort of assume WWE was going for the "oooh, spooky, it's Death" thing.

Everything about Thorn and Ariel was WWE screaming "HEY SCYFY LOOK! HERE'S THE SCI-FI CHARACTERS YOU ASKED FOR!" That being said, I was sort of into them, especially Ariel and think the plug was pulled on them way too soon.
Has anyone noticed that's 2 times this week Thorn has come up on the board?

To answer the OP's original question though, I would say probably the Attitude Era? Unless you count the Billionaire Ted skits?

I honestly liked Thorn and Ariel, too, and losing Ariel really screwed up Kevin's whole act. I probably wouldn't have put him with the New Breed, since I think the other three had more synergy than he brought, but I get that they wanted to consolidate all the original heels to give Dreamer and Sandman and Balls guys to fight.
