Has this premise ever been done?

A time traveler who happens to be blind. I think it could be somewhat interesting. Said traveler could determine where he is by listening to conversations and hearing about what current events are being discussed. Of course, you'd have to give him a reason to go back as well.

Would have made a good Outer Limits episode.

There would have to be some kind of twist though.
