As far as morbid curiosity, the Day the Clown Cried.
A few people have seen it and there’s always rumours it’s going to be released but nothing yet.

In 2013, WWE uploaded Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels from Survivor Series 1997. What isn't on the network, the last time I looked is the footage after Shawn goes through the tunnel in the back. You have the extended no commentary of Bret standing in the ring. Talking to Owen, Anvil and Davey. Goes around to slap all the fans hands. Destroys the TV's. Does one last salute on the corners. Does "WCW" with the fingers and waives goodbye. The extended cut of the match. Haven't seen it again. Are you sure you didn’t see footage from Wrestling with Shadows?

Prior to just checking youtube (because it hadn't been on there previously) it was the Law & Order 1988 pilot theme, which was the 1990-1993 theme but with a cell door slamming sound mid way through. This was shown on the A&E rerun but not in the DVD release. Also Matlock's pilot episode repeated for the 1986 season where Andy Griffith speaks about the pilot and a few differences in the show. This was on a channel about 20 years ago but I don't think the episode gets rerun and if it does, doesn't have that segment and the DVD set didn't include it either.

I'm 99.9% sure it's been lost to time but I'd love to see the infamous lone episode of "You're in the Picture"

I really wanted to watch some late 90s Svengoolie episodes (particular "American Gothic" with the WWF Shotgun Saturday Night joke during a shotgun scene), but I don't think much of that is circulating. It's probably a rights nightmare on top of being such an eclectic interest that I can't see much commercial value in it either, sadly.
As far as games go, the list is endless. The white city version of Mega Man X, the earliest known beta of Sonic 1 with the sign, etc. They exist merely in pictures for now...possibly forever if they weren't taken care of. Thankfully, we've gotten several leaks of various games over the last several years. Nintendo's the hardest nut to crack with this at times, there's so much we haven't seen, like the Wii version of Pikmin 3 and STILL nothing on Metroid Prime 4, whatever the original scrapped version of that looks like. Also, the various builds of Dread on other platforms before it got fully made for Switch.

For a while it was this adult swim cartoon of comic book nerds that chanted “ECW” at one point when a fight broke out. I thought i had dreamed it but I eventually found it. Some short run thing they tried at the time. I don't remember the ECW chant but that sounds like Welcome to Eltingville. based on the comic called Eltingville

The OJ Simpson episode of "Adventures in Wonderland" just for how jarring it is that this existed and was set to air sometime around the time of the murders but was pulled. All that remains of its existence is a book version. ![](https://64.media.tumblr.com/e3e89ad278ce856b601788a30bc45881/tumblr_mogu6rcMuQ1r57qc5o1_500.jpg) Also a prototype of the original NES Nightmare on Elm Street, the one where you play as Freddy. ![](https://lostmediawiki.com/images/3/38/Elm_Street_NES_Beta_screenshots.jpg)

Rich Koz has said that a lot of the movies from the initial WCIU relaunch of Svengoolie are films they no longer have the rights to (Plan 9 is a frequent example). On a related subject I would love to see more of the Jerry G Bishop Svengoolie shows from the 70s, but I doubt much footage survived.

I believe the footage that he’s talking about is on the original home video release of SSeries 1997.

Can something be considered "lost media" if it was never thought to be recorded in the first place? "Welcome to Eltingville". Adult Swim apparently wanted to make more episodes but the creator found making the pilot so difficult he didn't think he had it in him to do any more. I'm pretty sure it's on YouTube. Some Lost Media I would love to see recovered - - The Welcome Home, Animaniacs! special. - Les Aventures des Schtroumpfs, a 1961 black and white, French language animated Smurfs movie. - The 60's Filmation Metamorpho cartoon. I'm almost positive this doesn't actually exist, but I'm including it just in case. - Out to Lunch, a 70's crossover special between Sesame Street and The Electric Company. I suppose it can’t but a guy can dream some fan went “WWF doesn’t come often, so I’m gonna sneak my camera in”. Just FYI, there is fam cam footage of WWE house shows from the early 90s. Not just from the NY area. With how big camcorders were back then, I am surprised they were able to sneak them in.

One is Sven showing Elm Street 2 and the other he shows 3 or 4 episodes of the original Twilight Zone. I will see if any of the people I know in the Horror Host trading circles have the episode you are looking for.

The Television Ghost: A TV show made in the early 1930's the premise being a ghost telling their story about how they were murdered.
Babe Comes Home: A silent movie starring Baseball player Babe Ruth.
Not sure how lost this is but I haven't found it. A video reviewer named Doc Pepper, he would review wrestling shows of the time. He stopped after a couple of years but posted his videos on Blip.tv and after the website shut down I haven't been able to find it.

The only name that sticks out for me, as having seen it, is Harry Shearer.

Inspired by the recently-discovered "Wicked Witch" episode of Sesame Street. Basically, the piece of long-lost footage that for you, would be like Christmas came early? For me, it would be the remaining 14 missing "Zyu2" monsters from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, basically, when Saban bought the rights to use Super Sentai footage to make Power Rangers, part of the deal allowed them to shoot new footage of the villains for American use (this is where the "magic wand, make my monster grow!" clip comes from). When the show became a hit, Fox ordered 20 more episodes, but Saban had exhausted most of the Zyuranger footage available. So he contacted Toei and they went on to film fight footage for 25 new monsters, which became known in the fandom as Zyu2. Using 15 of these monsters, they were able to complete the first season. For season 2, they would end up deciding to stripmine the mech footage from Zyuranger's successor, Dairanger. However, they still had footage of ten monsters that hadn't been used yet. So the beginning of season 2 would utilize those monsters, but the mech fights were spliced together from Zyu2 and Dairanger. Years later, this information became more common knowledge, thanks to the internet and, of course, rumors began to spread about what we missed on. For you see, a number of monsters did not appear to have zord fights, but there was evidence indicating otherwise. One of those fights was rumored to feature Zyuranger's "DaiSatan" altering one of the monsters. For nearly two decades, speculation was rampant, until Christmas 2013, when a notable fansite revealed they had long-sought-after footage of the "Bloom of Doom" and "Invenusable Flytrap" zord fights. In February 2014, that footage, along with uncut and unaltered footage of "Primator", "Octophantom" and "TurbanShell" was uploaded onto YouTube by former PR stunt coordinator Jeff Pruitt. While the rumors were proven false, it was crazy to see footage long-considered to be destroyed. Plus, the unedited fights were pretty damn cool in their own right. That December, four more monsters had their footage revealed, bringing the total to nine. But then, Pruitt went quiet on YouTube. He says he likely has the remaining footage in storage somewhere, but eight years later, it remains unseen. So what are some of your lost footage must-haves? (please don't include anything involving real-life death or injury. I want to keep this thread light and fun ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) ) I had no idea the witch episode was found. Wow

the version of KISS Meets The Phantom with Peter Criss's actual speaking voice kept in. He claims he did all the over dubbing for the film. The 30 minute version of Helter Skelter where the audio of Ringo yelling "I CANT FEEL ME FINGERS!!" came from. The box set didnt include it. Full band version of "Child Of Nature" 'Get Back' kind of gave it for like a minute, but somewhere there is a full band mix of that track, the white album box just gave us John's acoustic demo. the 1996 Guns n' Roses album that Axl one day just told them "delete it" but the tracks wound up in a archive for reel to reel's. Is that the original cut of Chinese Democracy? I wasn't a huge Guns fan yet, but that seems like the era where Slash was still around and maybe Dave Navarro and Zakk Wylde were dropping by?

MUCH better album and also LOL at the "new single" being one of the songs on Chinese Democracy V1 from 2000. the 96 album had the Illusions line up, with Izzy coming back as a studio only member, and they worked on a bunch of things, the main like 'finished' finished song was a version of "This I Love" that Axl came in one day and told the producer at the time to delete the whole thing. Also GnR white whale this time actual footage...the "Perfect Crime" documentary they made about the Illusions tour that never was released. And also the Troubadour show from 2016 that was filmed as well.

I remember being so excited for Oh My God...and then it got delayed, I think only by a week or so....little did I know back then... I forgot about Perfect Crime, that would be cool to see. The details escape me, but I recognize the name of the doc that was shot and shelved.
