Manages to return from injury on the last show of Pride Month AND is assured future scissoring by Daddy Ass in the process, good for him.

I'm glad Bowens injury wasn't as serious as we thought it might be, out a few weeks, appeared on every show
I think Acclaimed are gonna turn face eventually. I really love this group though, they're just so fun together

My favorite team in AEW, I hope they get a run with the titles within the year.

I've been enjoying the pairing of Gunn Club and The Acclaimed. Billy passing the torch to this fire pairing has been fun to watch.
Begs the question, what does it mean to be cursed by Danhausen?

Hopefully he still gets wheeled out for a few weeks while Commentary shits on him for not walking to the ring. So basically the 2022 version of D’Lo’s chest protector gimic.

I just saw the clip from the Six-Man Match and I very much enjoyed the goofy tone of what was going on being amazingly shattered by the crowd's shocked reaction to Billy shoving his own son down and siding with The Acclaimed. Billy Gunn screaming at his own son and reassuring Bowens had people with their mouths actually hanging open in shock.
What a sudden, surprising, yet understandable thanks to how everything has been presented, story twist.

Billy Gunn disowning his kids and adopting the Acclaimed was a great moment.

Billy Gunn disowning his kids and adopting the Acclaimed was a great moment. The Danhausen stuff helped lead to that, the kids lowkey insulting their dad with how hard they fought against Ass Boys.

Ran into my one real life wrestling friend, and we immediately did the 'Scissor me Daddy ass!' bit. Love it and I feel complete.

Oh no, Bowens' father figure betrayed him for...you know...the actual blood relations.
How is this mainly goofy story somehow intensely sad? I just saw a friendship shattered for the sake of family relations...and also Danhausen was nearby, probably.

The endgame had to be the assboys heel turn ushering Acclaimed as faces but I think they could have gotten more mileage out of it.

Bowens asking for Daddy Ass to scissor him and getting betrayed was legit tragic as hell.

The crowd is all in on this, this is a great lower card grudge feud, and this is how you do it.

It's one of those things that you knew had to happen to cement the Acclaimed as a full-on face team, but it still hurts.
I also get a meta sense of the Gunns knowing full well they work best where they are on the card as an entry-level bully team/warm-up boss, much in the same way as QT Marshall, and this was just them breaking the fellowship so that the Acclaimed could move on to bigger things.

The crowd already cheers The Acclaimed as it is. Now they're faces, so it's going to seem even more natural

Et Tu, Daddy Ass? is such a hot line. That's the kind of tweet I'll remember 5 years from now.

Stopping Caster for rapping was absolutely genius. Great bit of heel heat.
I have loved this angle since the jump, honestly, and it's nice to see a bunch of fresh guys actually getting the time and the only WWE guy involved being a manager

Yes, they were over, but I'm afraid the face turn will cenafy them. Good for them, but bad for us people who liked them being total dicks.
