This has been a trend for a while now. From the mid-to-late-aughts to sometime in the last decade, for anyone who was released from WWE or just left the promotion, it was almost a surefire expectation for that person to go to TNA/Impact. For the past few years, it's expected for that person to go to AEW. For the Impact Zone meme, it was mostly said on message boards or tweets. But for the All Elite meme, a lot of people make graphics for it.
Which do you think is the better meme?

All Elite is only funny if it clearly isn't happening like a ring post being All Elite or something
The impact zone jokes always pop me

Impact zone. Due to the perception every single release would go there and the often amusing variations of their names. Plus it felt more organic.
All elite works only works as a meme if it's something ridiculous like Shane McMahon.

Lines such as "What's "The Ayatollah" Chris Irvine doing in the Impact Zone?!" Will always be funny.

"What's so and so doing in the Impact Zone?" because it's actually meant to be funny.

It's kinda weird when people combine the two. Like using the Great Value version of the WWE name from the Impact Zone meme with the All Elite format. AEW almost always uses the ring names that former WWE talent used elsewhere or their real names.
Though even TNA got away from that stuff pretty early too. They usually just went "Hey! I know who that is!" "But what's he doing in the Impact Zone?!"

I still miss the "Soandso doesn't even work for this company!" WCW meme.

Stuff like “What is “The Pebble” doing in the Impact Zone” always made me laugh.

"But what's he doing in the Impact Zone?" is evergreen.

I mean, the Impact Zone brought in so many questionable releases and the renames were typically pretty funny.
I think the bigger meme is when someone gets released, there are fans that immediately clamor to suggest TK hire them.

I mean, the Impact Zone brought in so many questionable releases and the renames were typically pretty funny. I think the bigger meme is when someone gets released, there are fans that immediately clamor to suggest TK hire them. Many people made some memes based on stuff that hadn't happened. For example, that video of Liv Morgan and Ruby Soho at an airport went viral, and people already suspected that Liv would get released because of it. I had heard some people write on social media stuff like "Gionna Daddio is All Elite." I wouldn't be surprised if graphics were made of it.

Cody being back in WWE kinda ruined the meme of using the Cody hand to ear gif whenever someone high profile left or got cut from there. That was a fun one while it lasted.

Stuff like “What is “The Pebble” doing in the Impact Zone” always made me laugh. Did someone actually think The Rock would go to TNA? I know that this is joking about it, but I could imagine that when TNA back in the mid-to-late-2000s (or mid-2000s, at least before the Hogan and Bischoff days) that hardcore TNA fans felt that someone like The Rock would go there.

I share the opinion the the TNA memes are better, because they seem to be a legit attempt at humor. Most of the All Elite ones (that involve actual wrestlers) seem to just be wishful thinking. However, the All Elite memes with inanimate objects tend to be quite good.

The AEW ones don't really work as a joke since it's usually a big step up.
You'd be better off with something like a picture of MJF and a caption like "Beauregard Garfield addresses the WWE Universe™️ "

They usually just went "Hey! I know who that is!" "But what's he doing in the Impact Zone?!" Whenever they did that, it felt like TNA rushed the guy onto TV before they could even come up with a name for him.
