Almost 2 months of incredible tv exposure and build off this tremendous moment
The payoff- a count out victory no title, I still say to myself once in awhile “Why Vince? Why?”

I wasn't watching at the time, but even just having watched retrospectives, mostly OSW Review, I can see that the crowds were into Luger and his tour, and the idea worked. He should have at least been a transitional champion from this.
I am just stunned as to why the 'pay off' to this mega push was a count-out victory and a celebration that made Luger look like a total chump.
I know it will have been answered, or at least speculated, but wtf happened?

WHAT IF WE PUSHED THAT TO WRESTLEMANIA! except then they made Luger look like an idiot celebrating a count out win especially when the stipulation was "win the title here no rematches". But anyone saying that the Lex Express wasn't over is wrong... they just failed to pull the trigger when they should have... (I mean I don't think he'd be the full time Hogan replacement either... but still)

It boggles my mind that WWE replaced the song with a different one on the Network version of SummerSlam ‘93 even though the company owns the rights to the original tune.

Was Crush even really from Hawaii?
If not, the idea of a fake Japanese guy who is really from Hawaii facing off a guy pretending to be from Hawaii is hilarious to me

Also the shot of those 2 guys in the crowd slapping high 5 at 4:46 has always been etched in my memory whenever I think about this
