I think he'll get called up around Survivor Series/Royal Rumble time so he's probably got another few months.
I think Melo would be the best choice to take it from him, hold it for a few months then get called up himself after Wrestlemania.

He shouldn't lose the title.
If he's gonna be a big deal on the main roster, he has to come in dominant. He can't look dominant if he loses to Apollo Crews who's been jobbing hard and doing nothing noteworthy for over a year.
It would be like Brock Lesnar losing to someone like Shawn Stasiak back in 2002.

It's not like he has an undefeated streak to preserve, and WWE barely acknowledges NXT exists, so it wouldn't really harm him no matter who he loses it to. |

If he stays because they give him a belt, he's an idiot I don't think that alone would be a good reason to stay, yeah, but it'd at least be a sign of commitment from WWE, which I assume would be something he'd want out of them. |

I can't really see Bron being some huge breakout star on the main roster anyway, mostly because a lot of people seem to barely care about him as it is and the main roster has a way of booking to people's weaknesses, but even if he's going to be I don't see him losing in NXT being the make or break thing from it. Bianca's been extremely successful on the main roster in a short amount of time and gotten super over despite the fact she spent pretty much her entire time in NXT being a massive choke artist.
