Is there really a point of the "One man advantage" in the match if in the end, it comes down to who the freshest man is?

In wrestling logic it’s meant to be “look how much damage the bad guys are doing, boo! They have the extra man and that’s not fair, boo!”. The faces will have the freshest man, but 5-1 (hypothetically) are not good odds if the bad guys work well.

It's all well and good you're coming into the match to save your partners but if your partners are red paste on the floor and you're dealing with 5-6 willing assholes, it's not going to be great for you.

I thought this myself and thought it'd be a good thing to see to give the faces the man advantage. Have a smart set of heels win the advantage but choose to have the last man in for that reason. Imagine having like prime Kane as a heel and faces having to build the match knowing he's coming in last and will be fresh.
