Damn, a year or two ago I was going to go to I guess his birthday at Wild West City. Unfortunately he wasn't doing meet and greets, just like an appearance.
F Troop is obvious. He also was the first animated Joker, on the Filmation Batman, which I still say was a great spiritual fourth season of the West series. Was the last survivor of the cast, in fact (Olan Soule, Casey Kasem, Jane Webb, Ted Knight).
He also voiced the character that oddly enough would be in the last of the original Looney Tunes shorts, and a staple to kids who watched LT on Nickelodeon in the 90s: Cool Cat.

F-Troop was a fun show, I wish some channel like MeTV would run it.
Storch was also part of "The Ghost Busters" series. The original, not the 1984 movie or anything to do with that franchise.
Rest in peace, sir.

He was also one of the final Looney Tunes characters, Cool Cat (not that one).

I honestly thought he had passed a few years ago. RIP. Obviously his role as Corporal Agarn is getting most of the attention. But I also want to give him props for another definitive 60s sitcom one-off: the Groovy Guru on Get Smart. F-Troop was a fun show, I wish some channel like MeTV would run it. Not long ago, it was running on Circle (a digital network primarily known as a country music channel, but they also play a lot of older shows during the day). It doesn’t look like it’s on their schedule currently, though.

If you have not seen Larry Storch deliver the eulogy as a wacky Himalayan guru in Blake Edwards’ “S.O.B.”, then you need to go watch that movie right away.

Although Circle was running it probably within the last month or so.

He did a show in Maryland in 2013 and he just started chatting with people. He would have been maybe 90 at the time and he looked great. I know the last few years whoever was running his social media, I think a son, seemed to want to slow down his autographs and fan attention but I think Larry was in pretty good health for his age, based on pictures. He also used to do fan mail regularly and often wrote nice notes on photos. It's a shame he didn't reach the 100 milestone but what a great life he lived and touched a lot of lives.

We get at least 4 channels on DISH that show nothing but old westerns. Most of which make F Troop look like nothing.

I never really watched F-Troop but I recently saw him in the recently-added-to-Shudder horror film "Without Warning" as a boy scout leader who accidentally leads kids into danger, realizes his compass is spinning in circles, and...sneaks away to try to light a cigarette by smacking a rock against another rock for a spark before being attacked by alien disc creatures.
He had a natural presence of humor about him that something as cheap as this early 80s horror flick was made better for his incredibly brief time in it.
