I thought Sasaki was retired, or is this not Kensuke? Daisuke Sasaki from DDT, who I think he’s scheduled to wrestle at Peter Pan. Ohhh, that makes more sense. Still, with freaking Mutoh only now finally nearing retirement, I couldn't rule out I had somehow missed something, especially given I know he had to really hustle to make back money he lost due to Choshu making poor business decisions when the two were doing their own promotion. I was worried he was having to un-retire for money's sake.

Takeshita Is in a really interesting spot. The guy wants to be a star in the US and honestly has all the skills to be it. But is also the ace in DDT so who knows when this year long excursion is done where he will want to go. I’m sure TK would love to have him stick around, but would DDT be willing to have a guy they have put so much into walk and still be in good terms with AEW. I think about this everytime he's out there. To me he's a star right now. Good looking, emotional, athletic as hell, can tell a story, tall. This guy has everything except maybe the language part. But what do you do about him being DDT's guy? How much can TK push him if a) he is gone eventually and b) DDT becomes worried he's TOO over and happy in AEW? A good problem to have I guess. No reason he can't do mini-tours the next decade.

Don’t care for him wrestling Sasaki. I thought Sasaki was retired, or is this not Kensuke? Doubt DDT would do anything with Kensuke after what his adopted son did to their current Ace at CyberFight Festival.

Especially for younger Aces.

Takeshita is getting a Dynamite match with Moxley. Non-title, he’ll get a future shot if he wins.
Unfortunately, I don’t expect this to resolve my issue with the dude not having won outside of Elevation or Dark yet.

The pairings he's gotten lately seem more like making sure he's getting the chance to work with the most experienced guys on the roster as well as those with the most diverse styles before his time in AEW is up.

I thought Sasaki was retired, or is this not Kensuke? Doubt DDT would do anything with Kensuke after what his adopted son did to their current Ace at CyberFight Festival. Nakajima of NOAH slapped the **** out of the ACE of DDT in one of those strike exchanges. I think Nakajima underestimated the power in his swing and put too much in it and knocked out the other wrestler. But the other wrestler had to relinquish the title after having a severe concussion from it.

Kensuke Sasaki and Akira Hokuto effectively adopted one of his top students, Katsuhiko Nakajima. Nakajima wrestles for Pro Wrestling NOAH. At the CyberFight Featival last month, a massive joint show with DDT and Tokyo Joshua Pro, Nakajima wrestled in a 6 man tag match which ended with a ref stoppage after Nakajima shoot knocked out Tetsuya Endo with a slap. Endo was DDT’s top champion at the time, and the guy who was temporarily replacing Takeshita as the promotions top guy. The slap was so hard that it gave Endo a concussion and forced him to relinquish the title.

Just an unnecessarily good match. Shows you how much wrestling storytelling can be done with no words. Kingston really is a modern day Foley

It needs to become okay to have more short matches on Dynamite, I'm not for one second saying they should cut the amount of overall wrestling but if you're going to put someone like Takeshita in that position against Mox and have it make sense he needs wins on TV in my opinion. I will add I think this was the first full match of Takeshita I've seen and thought it was really good, his offense has impact and he has a great look.

You can tell immediately from Nakajima’s reaction that he didn’t mean to do that.

Yes. You can tell immediately from Nakajima’s reaction that he didn’t mean to do that. So basically just what was bound to happen eventually when you wrestle insanely stiff happening? Is that why I hear people saying Nakajima is in the dog house?
