I'm so happy with however Takeshita has gotten. He's really found a role and would love to see him putting on banger after banger the next few months. Kingston getting to really express himself wrestling wise was great to.

Takeshita feels like he's less than 5 years from being a huge star. Dude just seems like the total package. All he needs is a bit of character work to differentiate him from the other young good workers in wrestling today and the sky's the limit.

Takeshita Is in a really interesting spot. The guy wants to be a star in the US and honestly has all the skills to be it. But is also the ace in DDT so who knows when this year long excursion is done where he will want to go. I’m sure TK would love to have him stick around, but would DDT be willing to have a guy they have put so much into walk and still be in good terms with AEW.

This is a guy I'd love to see as TNT or All Atlantic Champ. The latter especially would be great if he wanted to defend the belt in Japan.

Takeshita should be a main eventer in one of the top three or four promotions in the world in 3-5 years.

He honestly reminds me quite a bit of Ibushi, just, less eccentric. That same level of, "This guy's got it all."

I basically agree but thinking months not years, he's basically ready now but like you say just needs the charachter work. He just needs to be in that fued and/or alliance in AEW to bring that out of him. Being involved in making Eddie vs Jun happen might just be it.

Agreed in that he's essentially already there in terms of his looks and in-ring prowess, but he just needs a little something more character-wise. Right now his character for all intents and purposes IS "Future Ace on Excursion" which... isn't really a character, plus it's inherently situational and time-limited.

Kingston is one of the great sellers in wrestling. He can get a crowd behind him consistently.

That match was f***ing awesome. I absolutely loved the finishing sequence. Takeshita is gonna be a superstar, I would like to see TK pivot and give him a big push. But even without the big push, having bangers with top stars constantly is doing him wonders.

I’d love Takeshita to get a reign as the Atlantic champion. Dude has a great look and can be a big star.

Takeshita should definitely get the AAC from PAC first imo, dude's so good
This excursion for him has been great, he gets the US crowd into everything he does, and of course Kingston can just work every style and make it great, not a shock this was just a banger, a casual four star banger on Rampage, well done.

Glad a lot of people are finding about how good Takeshita is. He’s going back to DDT for Peter Pan in August but I’d think he should be a consistent TV presence going forward given how long he’s staying.

My only exposure to Takeshita is through AEW, and I'm still impressed.

Takeshita has almost everything he needs to be the next Japanese mega star.
The only thing he’s missing is that emotional connection that someone like Tanahashi or Mutoh does.

I've said it elsewhere but bring him into NJPW somehow. Let him tag with Tanahashi for a year and become that guy. He's got all the potential.
