Don't ask me why this just popped in there, but I have heard some suggest this would have been a good program. So I suggest turning back the clock and imaging that instead of the Big Boss Man as the first to play Mister McMahon's muscle/bodyguard and a cornerstone of The Corporation-its Bam Bam. If anyone would fit the role of a hired enforcer it certainly was Bam Bam Bigelow. Would have been a pretty jaw dropping return either way, and given his ring skill I could have seen him and Austin tear it up in some matches. Thoughts?

I feel like Bam Bam would need to some repairing if he was going to be a bodyguard for McMahon with any credibility. He got out less damaged from the Million Dollar Corporation than a lot of them, but that was still one of the worst stables.
Luckily, his ECW run likely would have had him coming back with a significant improvement in credibility. ECW had a certain mystique even for people who didn't watch it, something that has obviously been leveraged for tons of reunion shows in a way most dead promotions never had.
Anyway, I could see it working. Probably depend a lot on if he can be clean. If he's as high as he was in WCW, it probably would be something Austin can do for a month but then Bigelow would have fallen into the mid or undercard. If he could clean up, then his ceiling is a little higher, though I still feel like he probably tops out with a tag title run with someone or a European title, maybe IC.
