It was weird. I would see Ariya on WWE TV, then he would do local shows here on the weekend. Then all of a sudden he was on AEW Dark last week |

Axel trained Rock for the Cena matches so maybe they were saving him for that and recently discovered he won’t be needed this year (or next year probably).

Oh, so Ariya's been in non-wrestling duties, too, then. Yeah I remember a report recently where there was some confusion because he was still being listed as being in a producer tryout phase and it had been a couple months and tryouts usually only last a short time. I guess they finally made up their mind on it. =/ |

If it was just a trial, I guess the trial didnt work out, or we'll hear about them getting properly hired shortly.
It's hard to evaluate how they did in that role without being there, so generic sad thoughts for the unemployed, but no clue if this was a good or bad call in terms of performance.
