What ever happened to the Claudio CSRO name? He never used it and I thought he introduced it because “Castagnoli” would be too hard to pronounce by mainstream audiences.

Maybe got talked out of it by his boss who loves old school ROH, or likely he just trademarked it in case he needed it somewhere.

Honestly I think he should probably just be using Claudio as a singular name.

CSRO felt like more a brand name for stuff in the end, that or Tony told him Claudio would be way better, especially for use in ROH.

Sounds like what his CYN name would have been.
Don’t overthink things just because American audiences aren’t very bright.

I kind of get the impression he maybe thought he needed the Cesaro portion for branding purposes and decided that may not be necessary.
Though will say Claudio Cesaro is a badass name

I imagine he'll keep the Castagnoli name but largely just be known as, and referred to, as Claudio. CSRO is kinda pointless with an AEW crowd - I'd suspect most have at least a knowledge of the Claudio Castagnoli name, even if they didn't watch his indies run.

As somebody suggested above, I think he was going to use it but somebody talked him into keeping his government name. I could also see it being a situation where he trademarked it in the event WWE had the idea to f*** around with him and do it themselves. They awarded him the trademark, so WWE didn't object to it though: tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4804:62yi3j.3.4

Clawd E Oh is a pretty good chant.
If Castignoli is hard, Claudio is a pretty fine name to say. When I first saw him in ROH and I definitely didnt want to remember the full name, but I was being lazy American.

Claudio is easy to chant, and I've honestly always felt Claudio Castagnoli is a top 5 real names for wrestlers in history. It's distinctive, alliterative enough to be catchy/snappy, just screams star. I'd gotten used to Cesaro but I'm already completely back to calling him Claudio. His real name is honestly too good not to use.

Claudio shouldnt remind people of WWE's Cesaro. If pronunciation is a problem, drop the 'G', change it to Claudio Castanoli.

Claudio CSRO is off hunting that evil git El Generico for the fraud he committed with the fake orphanage & orphans, he's Claudio Castagnoli's twin that he never mentioned. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}what? it's more fun to think of them both doing this.
