Of course, WM7 was going to take place there, but, you know. Has WWE ever considered trying to go back and get a show held there, or is the venue just too big for just a wrestling show?

I mean...they're going to be in LA next year at an equally-sized but much more modern SoFi Stadium. While I think the ability to fill the place to capacity at point is a possibility, I don't see them doing so in a relatively dated venue (even with the renovations they did a few years back).

I doubt it anymore. WWE always tend to go to the modern new stadiums. With Sofi being what it is, they will be the LA go too. Even if the Coliseum would have a cooler back drop with the pillars and ext.

I don't see what would be the point. SoFi Stadium is in LA and is like literally 100 years younger and way better. Serisously SoFI is the most incredible stadium I've ever seen. It looks like something straight out of a Sci Fi movie set in the future.

It looks like something straight out of a Sci Fi movie set in the future. I know that SoFi coliseum is named after the SoFi company as part of a naming rights deal but I find it ironic that you said someth8ng along the lines of “SoFi looks like something you would see in a Sci Fi movie.” SoFi and Sci Fi. Hehehe! Honestly I didn't really know what the name of it was. I just knew the Rams played there and thought it looked really cool in a Sci Fi futuristic way. Then when I saw people in this thread mentioning the name I was thinking "oh it totally makes sense now". However yeah turns out it's just named after a finance company. |
