It felt like wwe was kicking and screaming on avoiding using lashley to his strengths because it wasn't a wwe creation. It wasn't until they had no choice to pair him with MVP and the Hurt business it felt like he finally clicked. Though I liked Bobby being paired with Lio Rush just didn't think it was booked right... I mean they certainly had a choice, they could’ve not booked the whole MVP/ Hurt Business storyline/character. I give them credit for that. Ok getting pedantic again I see. My point was it felt like lashley was treading water before the pairing and avoiding doing what could work bc it wasn't their creation.

He was definitely treading water and had some awful segments/storylines like the Zayn/sisters angle and getting involved in the Lana/Rusev angle, which I believe were both when Heyman ran Raw. MVP returning in 2020 and then being paired up with Lashley within a few months of his return was definitely a career changer. Going to guess that was Prichard.

He went from being one of the most loathsome acts in 2007, to one of the absolute best. This. I didn't understand his push then. Seemed like another muscle head that couldn't talk. Now, he's expressing himself a lot better. He's crisper in his moves. Personality is bright and beaming. I really like him. Just needed time to grow, fill into his part. Learn some things. (Ye Olde 'tour a new territory, learn a new move'.) I'd put the top title on him now, but that's just me.

He hasn't had a proper world title run as a face. Plus the he never lost with WWE title run clean. Cash in and taken out of elimination chamber. He needs another run!

Oh man, that Sami feud. It gave us not just one, but two all time bad segments.
Viewer discretion advised.
