Great great match and the surprise new champs of AEW. I said it in the Dynamite thread but I think Tony was fully committed to Swerve vs Lee but decided to hold off cause of how well they gelled as a team.
Shocking title change, but get the feeling the Bucks win was more now because JB was hurt and they had to pivot from the Hardys.
But such a great moment

These special Dynamite shows should absolutely have big things going down, and a shock title change is certainly one of them.

Surprised they won and grateful they didn't have Swerve turn on Lee with the way things were looking given how these angles go.
It's a fresh team and should provide some great matches.

NGL, would have preferred Starks and Hobbs but getting the belt off the Bucks felt right. And Lee and Swerve are awesome in their own right. Kind of weird to keep building tension between the two & get the titles but we’ll see where it goes.
Incredible match too.

Seriously, no one in WWE saw these two and went "hmm, maybe if we let them be themselves and push them into a title scene they'd be over like hell and make us a ton of money?" Always thought either man deserved a high place on a card and glad to see it here.

Reposting with some added thoughts from the live thread.
The Bucks getting the emergency transition reign was good, and now they can just feud with FTR if need be, or FTR gets a shot at SIOG next. Regardless, these matches are when the false finishes matter, for when the Bucks DONT win
When I saw them both getting taken out on the outside by Lee's dive and Swerve going up, and then I saw him hit the stomp, and I saw no one moving... my 10 year old self kicked in, that "OH SHIT HE'S GONNA DO IT" kicked in. and then they won, and I lost it.
I love wrestling for these moments. This was a moment, a f***ing great one. Thank you AEW, for doing that for me still.

I kind of mentioned this, I think everyone involved was surprised about how great of a team Swerve in our Glory ended up being as a team, and with changes needing to be made I think they decided to reward Keith and Swerve for their work... also they even made a point to highlight in the match that Swerve decided not to cheat and win with honor like Keith would want. And besides, you can go back to them feuding when they lose the title.

Pretty awesome surprise, felt like a filler title defense for sure. ... Still think it's kind of a dumb team name though.

Always thought either man deserved a high place on a card and glad to see it here. WWE letting not one but both of these men walk I think will be two of the biggest swing and a misses in terms of talent analysis that they will ever have, that's not even factoring in all the shit they did to Keith to neuter him, changed theme, parachute pants, singlet, shave, BEARCAT? Just a f***ing mess... not even factoring in Swerve was on TV for a week, and they wanted to use him to put guys like Top Dolla over... ew. Tony Khan said straight up in an interview he was baffled that any company in the world could just let Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland go... well he obviously sees the money in both of them, and this tag title reign cements them in that. Just good shit, I'm so happy there's another big time US company on TV again so these guys can still fine avenues to succeed like this where they couldn't before.

With how they were teasing Bucks vs FTR II lately, I'm so glad that they didn't do the typical thing of holding off on any major title changes until the PPV. Bucks always make for a great tag-team match, and they ended up being fine as transitional champs. But both Swerve/Lee and Hobbs/Starks brought it tonight. I'm really happy for Swerve In Our Glory.

Always thought either man deserved a high place on a card and glad to see it here. The issue for Swerve was the ol NXT special. in NXT he was the star of Hit Row and he was allowed to be himself but Hit Row gets called up and Vince immediately thinks the star should be Top Dolla. The Keith thing always confuses me because Vince LOVED him, demanded he got groomed as a top guy in NXT after Survivor Series, demanded the NXT title be taken off of him so he could be called up, and then Vince got bored (even before the bout with COVID) Yeah I originally thought the plan was to go Bucks/FTR 3 at All Out for 4 belts, but I think the transition was so the titles could be taken off Jurassic Express so the Christian turn could happen and so JB could take time off for his injuries. I actually kind of wonder if the Bucks were even added to the JE/Hardys match initially because with Jeff and JB being hurt they wanted to make sure it was a good match and then Jeff got arrested so that plan changed.

Bucks didn't get pinned so they can claim they have an alibi for a rematch

It's the right time, both of these guys are mainevent talents and with Lee's age especially it needs to happen sooner rather than later.

Happy for Swerve and Lee, they absolutely deserve it and it is a big win. I'm guessing if we're getting Bucks vs FTR for all the belts they are saving it for Full Gear, where the two teams first met in 2020. That'd be a good way to finally give us a tag team main event.
