That awesome karate round kick by Keith Lee. I could watch that all day.

It really doesn't get said enough but the AEW Tag Team titles are really the most beautiful belts in the game. They're looking good on the boys.

Awesome match! Great to see Lee and Swerve getting some gold as they certainly deserve it. Wonder where this leaves the All Out title picture?

Awesome match! Great to see Lee and Swerve getting some gold as they certainly deserve it. Wonder where this leaves the All Out title picture? Meltzer reports that even though the fans "clearly" wanted FTR vs. Young Bucks with all the tag titles on the line, that was not the plan. The rubber match might be in the cards somewhere long term, but possibly not with all four sets of tag belts (which would be historic), partly due to having no idea when AAA or NJPW may choose to put their tag titles on someone else. Part of this is because there's various other plans for the Bucks at this point, most notably a feud with Omega against Cole and reDRagon that had to be shelved due to Omega and Cole still out. Meltzer also noted that we're all basically waiting for Kenny to return for the Trios belts to be revealed.

Honestly makes me happy if the intent is for Team Taz to stick together at this level for a while.

It also elevates them when they eventually go back to singles. My hope is they got to Ricky Starks and Hobbs, then eventually FTR. I guess I get the Meltzer report, because if New Japan wants to take the belts off, they'd be pinning the AEW World champions. It does cause a bit of an issue. I still would love to see a Young Bucks-FTR match at the PPV for whatever titles, FTR wins, and then move off the New Japan belts and win the AEW belts again.

His return will be him making an announcement that the first DLC pack for AEW Fight Forever will include a whopping 50 additional wrestlers.

Which is what I have been saying about not focusing on running FTR vs YB for all the titles(well not exactly this but you get it ). Honestly this is a much better use of the titles and tv time.

There's a way around that: say an NJPW team wants FTR and they have all the Tag Belts, they'll get the IWGP shot but not the AEW Tag Team shot. Why? They aren't in the AEW Top 5 Rankings.

There's a way around that: say an NJPW team wants FTR and they have all the Tag Belts, they'll get the IWGP shot but not the AEW Tag Team shot. Why? They aren't in the AEW Top 5 Rankings. Right, and then quietly they can lose the New Japan belts. They just have AEW, ROH and AAA. So maybe that's why I doubt Meltzer's report a bit? Christian Cage beat Kenny Omega for just the Impact title, and the AEW. I like Meltzer, but sometimes he says stuff and people take it to much to heart. What I think happened was they wanted to put it on Keith Lee and Swerve at the PPV, but when Punk went down, there was going to be a title win. To not take away from that title win, they waited until a Dynamite to do it. They decided to have it go to the Bucks as transition champions, because they also wanted Christian to turn on Jungle Boy, which they were probably saving for after the PPV, so as not to take away from the main event. Bucks got the titles, instead of the New Japan titles, which they said lets put on FTR to build them up. Bucks then lost the titles on a Dynamite, Christian had turned on Jungle Boy, Swerve and Keith Lee got the titles 3 weeks later, and now who knows what happens. My want is Team Taz wins it in a month, lose it to FTR, while the Bucks are having their issues with reDRagon if theyre healthy, and then save FTR-Bucks for like, the November PPV. Just have FTR take it at the Sept PPV.

Honestly makes me happy if the intent is for Team Taz to stick together at this level for a while. And honestly it checks, Starks is coming off that bad neck injury, Keith is getting back to form with his cardio, and both look splendid with their respective team member It's a really good way to get these guys back to form and keep them hot while they get back to 100 percent imo.

That was a great match and as much as I love the Bucks, I was glad to see them lose. I didn't expect Lee/Swerve to win but I'm happy they did. Lee is getting back to his best and they work so well as a team. As they're relatively fresh as a team, it gives AEW so much to do with them as well. I'd love to see them go through a few teams before eventually getting back to Team Taz.

For the immense talents they both are, they’ve gone through a lot of shit the last year and two. Absolutely deserving in every respect.

I know Tony isn't everybody's cup of tea, and he doesn't deal well with criticism, but there's something endearing with how much of a fan he is Tony is basically if one of us had a rich dad that let us run a company. That's weird, I am one of us and I never had a rich dad that let me run a company. 🤔
