Konosuke continues to look legit and for real as he had another great match with Moxley last night.
Hopefully they start pushing him as he's won over crowds and commentary has nothing but praise for him.

Moxley is a tremendous World Champion. His matches have such a great aura. Last week in Rochester his entrance had the most buzz of anything that night (including Rampage). I really love the guy, he brings something to wrestling few do. He’s real.

Man needs a victory on Dynamite soon. I like seeing him wrestle the top studs, but some dubs over other upper mid card guys would be cool.

Fantastic match, even though it would have been cool to see Takeshita get the upset win. Man needs a victory on Dynamite soon. I like seeing him wrestle the top studs, but some dubs over other upper mud card guys would be cool. Some options of guys for Takeshita to get his first win over on Dynamite in the future, though not all of them are in the upper tier: Shawn Spears (hasn't been doing anything since MJF disappeared anyway) QT Marshall Dustin Rhodes Sammy Guevara Daniel Garcia Fenix Matt Sydal The Spears/Marshall match shouldn't go more than five minutes if Takeshita's first televised AEW win is over one of them.

Takeshita is f***ing unreal. That dude is having banger after banger, looking like a f***ing champion despite always losing. He’s amazing

Another Moxley match with an inevitable outcome. Makes it hard to enjoy him.

Another Moxley match with an inevitable outcome. Makes it hard to enjoy him. Don't most matches (outside of the tag title match) have inevitable outcomes? Like we always knew Danielson would win his matches against dudes not named Adam Page, we knew Deeb would win against Anna. Even without that, AEW had just set precedent by having Rosa lose a challenge match in Japan.

I can't think of a single Moxley match that I've hated (and that includes the Hager match from the beginning of the pandemic when they were trying to figure things out on the fly).
He's in-and-out one of the most reliable guys on the roster and I'm extremely happy to see that he took time off for taking care of himself and is back doing it just as good as ever.
And Konosuke is really shining in the roles he's been given. I do hope he can get a solid run at one of the singles titles at some point before he goes back to DDT.

Another Moxley match with an inevitable outcome. Makes it hard to enjoy him. Dude is world champ and ace of the company. It would be like if Cena lost to a random midcarder in 2010 on some random Raw

It is no more fun the second time around. That really isn't accurate, Cena was having way more matches, often one on Raw, one on Smackdown and a PPV

Having Takeshita now go on a winning run culminating with a PPV TNT title match with Wardlow at All Out would be just swell.

I’ve said it before, but if you’re properly booking wrestling it should be predictable as all f*** 95% of the time. You can throw in the odd curveball, but you should generally be able to look at a card and predict all the winners based on logic.

You’re still watching to find out how they’re going to overcome the odds they might go through and how they are after they win.

Konosuke is no doubt a great wrestler. And that match is great. But I don’t really get the frustration by some that he lost. Unless I’ve missed something, he’s only on excursion from DDT right? He’s not really a full time, fully signed member of the company. Why would a guy whose not fully signed wrestler, beat one of your top guys. Right now, he’s getting over based on his insane match quality, and that’s fantastic. But his role is basically to have great matches with top guys. And eventually, he probably will shock someone and win. But there is no real reason for him to go over top stars other than shock value, and to me, that’s not a good enough reason.

Sure, you get the occasional Infinity War but generally you know the hero is gonna be standing tall at the end. It’s not the destination, it’s the journey that matters. Both the Kingston and Mox matches I never had any doubt who would win but both were incredible and produced enough entertainment that I was glued to my TV and I tend to be the sorta dude who is on my phone, or Switch or whatever and only half ass pay attention to whatever TV I’m watching.

I agree that he should start winning matches but in other threads people were also saying his opponents make all his matches foregone conclusions and that against smaller talent it won't seem like he always loses Also this match absolute f***s, seek it out
