So Step By Step fans, which character was better, Cody or Rich? As far as actors go, I think Jason Marsdon is the better actor. But this isn't about acing, it is about characters.

I voted for Rich. Not because I feel he's a better character, but because I'm pretty sure nobody else will and I felt sorry for him.

I don't remember the show well enough to know the difference. I did have something of a crush on Staci Keanan that started when she was on My Two Dads though.

I don't remember Rich but I definitely remembered Cody and always thought he was cool.

I voted Cody because its his time there that I remember it becoming a pretty good sitcom. But Rich was alright and it worked well enough when he was on, but the show was already losing steam.

All I can say is growing up, I missed the episode where Dana falls for Rich, so I was utterly baffled when she went from being repulsed by him, to being schmaltzy with him. Brenden soon disappeared from the show too around this time. Things got weird.
