I see all these videos like "The Mario Iceberg" on my suggestion tab. What are these exactly? Is it just another form of top 10/tier list rankings?

As best I understand it, the bigger fan you are of a franchise, the further down the iceberg you'll know facts. So, the "tip of the iceberg" will be the most commonly known stuff, and the bottom level is the stuff only the really hardcore fans will be familiar with; the more obscure stuff.

The poster above me explained it fairly well. They first started popping up last year on YT. Most are a decent way to kill time if you are into the subject matter.
