I think that's mainly down to the performance, while softened a bit, you see everyone looking back on the movies because the new ones are out/anniversaries/general nostalgia picking up a on a lot of that there are subtext "spared no expense" is basically a meme at this point. But Richard Attenborough is so damn charming. Fun fact: in the original storyboards a velociraptor ambushes and kills Hammond while tending to the raptor eggs.

Do world war two ships reimagined as anime girls count? Because I can think of at least three different verses with radically different girls based on the same bloody ships. Kantai Collection, Azur Lane, and Warship Girls I'm guessing? Also Appregio of Blue Steel, I suppose.

Scrooge McDuck wearing blue in the original Duck Tales cartoon, but wearing red in the comics and the NES games.

In Jurassic Park, John Hammond is more of a villain in the books. He keeps insisting everything is someone else’s fault, shows no concern for his grandkids or anyone else while he’s holed up in a secure bunker, and even as everything goes to hell, only cares about his bottom line. A standard Michael Crichton villain then.

Kevin Nash can hurricurana reverse DDT in WWE video games. The Kevin Nash on TV cannot. Just because he didn't NEED to doesn't mean he couldn't. ...I only say that because I saw this clip:

Ironide and Ratchet have heads on the cartoon, not in the toys. Then again, when Megatron got done with at least 'Hide in The Movie....
Also, FIRRIB/FIBRIR. Just...that.

Almost like "what happens if you give a child in their dinosaur phase billions of dollars and a team of genetics experts?" and of course they're going to make a Dinosaur Disneyland without considering the consequences.

the Big Guy and Rusty!
Setup for the Cartoon and the setup for the Comic were completely different.
In the comics from what I remember The Big Guy was America's kaiju fighting "robot", and Rusty was Japan's and the two needed to work together.
in the show Rusty and Big Guy were created by the same robotics company and they were more of a mentor/sidekick duo.

Ironhide and Ratchet do indeed have "heads"; they're just flat as their faces were behind the windshield and doubled as the seat, a holdover from the toyline the mold comes from where they were mecha, as opposed to robots. FIRRIB/FIBRIR was purely a mess up that they never corrected. I was so irritated at the time and was doubly so when the earthquake powers were small sledgehammers instead of the vibration mechanisms that the toy and comics featured. Also, did Buzzsaw ever make an appearance? He was the one that should have been most associated with Soundwave, after all.

Basically everyone in Hades Project Zeorymer is different between the manga and OVA. The manga is rapey, trashy porn, and not worth checking out by basically anybody. The OVA is much cleaned up of that and the plot is only a bit similar, mostly in grand strokes. It's not top tier, regardless, but it has occasionally haunting scenes, some interesting designs and concepts, and an absolutely fantastic soundtrack, somehow. It makes me wonder if the OVA aimed to save the trash manga, or if the manga was trash to appease the porn magazine that published it and they just held their nose to do it in order to make their mecha manga at all.

I could’ve sworn Raysh was the intended pronunciation according to Denny O’Neil but could be wrong. It is the way I always pronounce it in my head I believe Denny said he intended it to be Raysh... but many people that speak Arabic have pointed out the word Ra's is not pronounced that way. Well, I learned something today. Although its gonna take awhile to mentally stop pronouncing that way

How'd I forget...
ZODAC FROM MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE.
For various behind the scenes reasons, he was listed as "evil" on the toys and presented as such in some books. His design uses parts from most Evil Warriors. Yet on Filmation Zodac is clearly on the heroes' side.
Another toy change:
Plum Puddin' from Strawberry Shortcake....male in the toy line, female on the cartoons.
