The thread about the bad booking of this match gave me an idea. It is regarded and rightfully so as quite possibly the worst booked match in history as it involved 30 men and not one of them came out better then they did coming in. So I decided to rebook the match using the 30 guys that were actually in it while trying to use logic, booking the wrestlers to their strengths, and setting up feuds and matches they had planned.
Entrant #1: The Miz-Smarmy heel with some heel heat that gives the fans someone to hate right off the bat.
Entrant #2: Ryback-Over upper midcard face who gives the someone they want to cheer right off the bat while not burning through any of the major faces too early.
Entrant #3: Adam Rose-Fodder for Ryback. Teams with Miz before Ryback fights through it and kills Rose before tossing him (1).
Entrant #4: Cesaro-Another heel to continue to stack the odds against Ryback. Ryback hangs tough.
Entrant #5: Stardust-Another heel to continue to stack the odds against Ryback. The heels beatdown Ryback but can't eliminate him.
Entrant #6: Jack Swagger-Decently over face and some help for Ryback. Cleans house and gets into a tussle with Cesaro as a callback to their tag team.
Entrant #7: R-Truth-Another popular face to even the odds.
Entrant #8: The Boogeyman-Surprise comedy entrant. Does some comedy spots with Truth and Stardust before getting tossed by Miz (2) to get heat on him.
Entrant #9: Damien Mizdow-Teams with Miz to toss Truth (3) but then tosses Miz (4) as well to set up his face turn.
Entrant #10: Goldust-Helps Stardust out. Stardust tries double crossing him but Goldust turns the tables on him and tosses him instead (5) setting up their split.
Entrant #11: Rusev-Heel wrecking ball to clear house. Quickly tosses Mizdow (6), Ryback (7), Cesaro (8), and Goldust (9). Swagger gets a hope spot with the ankle lock as a call back to their feud but Rusev fights out of it and eliminates him (10) to clear the ring.
Entrant #12: Sin Cara-Fodder for Rusev. Tossed in short order (11).
Entrant #13: Zack Ryder-Fodder for Rusev. Tossed in short order (12). (Basically almost the same as Bray Wyatt's Diesel esque push but just with Rusev in his place).
Entrant #14: Dean Ambrose-Upper card face and finally someone who can stop Rusev. Doesn't eliminate Rusev but slows him down and ends is dominance by lasting 90 second interval.
Entrant #15: Luke Harper-Formidable hoss heel to make things tough on Ambrose.
Entrant #16: Erick Rowan-Repeat of the Curtis Axel spot that actually happened at the event itself. Rowan beats up Axel to take his spot so he can get at Harper. Sets up Axel's Axelmania comedy character.
Entrant #17: Fandango-Filler heel entrant who can eat some offense primarily for the next guy.
Entrant #18: Diamond Dallas Page-Popular Legend entrant. Runs wild for a bit mainly on Fandango who he hits the Diamond Cutter on. However he gets overwhelmed by the monsters and eliminated by Harper via big boot (13).
Entrant #19: Dolph Ziggler-Very over face coming off huge Survivor Series win. Runs wild on the heels and eliminates Fandango (14) who was still reeling from the Diamond Cutter with a superkick.
Entrant #20: Kane-Large credible heel to slow down Dolph.
Entrant #21: Kofi Kingston-Filler face entrant.
Entrant #22: Tyson Kidd-Filler heel entrant who won't divert much focus as Kane eliminates Kofi (15).
Entrant #23. Daniel Bryan-Another super over face. Cleans house and tosses Kidd (16) after a quick sequence.
Entrant #24: Bray Wyatt-Upper card heel to cool off Bryan and at the same give the match a strong heel late. Eliminates former teammates Rowan (17) and Harper (18) (after a brief reunion tease) as they are tussling on the ropes just as he did in the actual match.
Entrant #25: Titus O'Neil-Heel fodder entrant.
Entrant #26: Roman Reigns-Runs wild with Superman Punches and Spears. Eliminates Titus (19) and then Kane (20).
Entrant #27: Wade Barrett-Decently credible heel for late in the match. Loosely feuding with a few of the faces that are in the ring in Ziggler and Ambrose.
Entrant #28: Big E-Filler face entrant but another hoss who can match with some of the other big guys in there like Wyatt and Rusev.
Entrant #29: Buh Buh Ray Dudley-Surprise legend entrant. Hits his signature offense to pop the crowd
Entrant #30: Big Show-Biggest guy in the match and The Authorities #1 goon comes in last to provide the fan favorites another big obstacle to overcome.
Finals: Rusev, Ambrose, Ziggler, Bryan, Wyatt, Reigns, Barrett, Big E, Dudley, Big Show
Show quickly tosses Buh Buh (21) and Big E 22). Show dominates and chokeslams the majority of the field before the former Shield teammates Reigns and Ambrose team up on him and eliminate him with a double clothesline (23). Wyatt ambushes but Ambrose reveres the Sister Abigail and tosses him (24) to get revenge for looking like a geek and jobbing out against him in that terrible late 2014 feud. Barrett (25) and Ambrose (26) then eliminate each other and then brawl to the back to set up their February IC Title PPV match.
Final Four: Rusev, Ziggler, Bryan, Reigns
Rusev as the only heel and having been there the longest of the four remaining instantly become the target. He fights them off for a bit before Reigns spears him and tosses him (27). Reigns dominates for a bit before Ziggler and Bryan team up and toss him (28) which protects Reigns as it took two guys to eliminate him. Ziggler and Bryan, the two most over guys in the match, then put on clinic that lasts several minutes before Ziggler eventually Bryan with a superkick (29) to win the match. I always thought Ziggler should've won as he was red hot coming off the Survivor Series win and they did nothing to follow up on that.
Tell me what you all think and if there's anything you would've done differently.
