Basically, think Roman Reigns with the Shield gimmick continuing with Roderick as the solo Undisputed Era guy.
Would this help put some life back into the Strong character?

It'd make him look like an even bigger geek.
Roman still doing The Shield stuff long after they broke up hurt him, too, IMO.

They really should just go all in on the Lance Storm style deadpan gimmick. Roddy's biggest weakness is his lack of natural charisma so use it to his advantage. To me Lance's best work was when he had to be serious for a minute...which was funny considering I fully believe he was born serious
