Hey guys, one of hot rumors is that Saudi buyers are interested in WWE.
I've gained no actual information thus far to indicate this is actually happening, outside of a few vague hinting messages from people outside WWE
WWE contacts claimed to not know what the hints were about.
I guess I’ll start prepping that hat now.

Highly unlikely it's a sale announcement unless some shit was being worked on while Vince was gone. What else could be more major than Steph resigning altogether and Vince resuming his Chairman role? Sale would be way too early unless we're talking early developments, that'd be major news because we'd finally have a company named that WWE might be possibly going to
Other Monster News would be HHH getting ousted, Vince taking over creative again, or a giant unexpected wave of talent cuts, all of which would suck...
Have a bad feeling talent cuts might be immanent regardless if Vince is back, but I hope not, I don't want anyone to just get outright fired.

This sounds to me like Vince wants to be the only thing remembered with WWE. So at nearly 80 years old he's gonna sell it for ego to not leave it to his kids..

It’s not that crazy. What has Vince been doing the last several months? He brokers a deal…brings it to the board and is unanimously restored to full power to, in their own words, help facilitate a sale.

So maybe Saudis buy WWE and Vince runs the whole thing? People are being really coy on Twitter right now and I don’t think HHH being ousted would have everyone responding to this degree. But who knows. I give up. |

I can't remember if they ever actually ended up moving to the new HQ building in Stamford they were talking about, but I just imagine things being a mix of Cersei finally being crowned queen and the last scene of the Godfather, just Vince alone in the t-rex skull room, bathed in red light, surrounded by his yes men and only his yes men, a thousand-yard stare on his face, as the camera pans back out of the room and Bruce Pritchard closes the door. |
