I hope Vince hires Jon Waters to write and star in his biopic, and doesn't realize his mistake until the film is already out on blu-ray. This would be goddam amazing.

Not to be dramatic, but that moustache is one of the most unsettling things I've ever had the misfortune of setting my eyes upon. It looks like a third-string wax museum left their air conditioning off in the middle of July for a couple of days, and they thought, "Well, we can still save this Walt Disney, no one's going to know anything happened..."

More on his involvement with show last night (write up from the Observer site):
Days after officially becoming an employee again, WWE Executive Chairman Vince McMahon was put back to work as he was backstage at Saturday's first night of WrestleMania 39 and even on headset.
PWInsider first reported Saturday night that McMahon was backstage with his own office which was said to be near the gorilla position. It also stated he was on headset, giving feedback, and asking questions.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, our Dave Meltzer confirmed the report, saying he was not running the show but that McMahon is "very much involved now."
This is a change since McMahon's surprise backstage appearance on a late-March edition of Raw in Boston where it was said he was simply there to visit John Cena.
McMahon was also at Friday's Hall of Fame ceremony, indeed sporting a new mustache and dyed black hair as had been rumored.
On Friday, it was announced by WWE that McMahon had signed an employee contract to go along with his Executive Chairman Board position he orchestrated his return to back in January in an effort to facilitate and head up a sale of the company.
Since that time, speculation has grown as to McMahon's increased role within creative, headed up by his son-in-law Paul Levesque, which has been downplayed by WWE CEO Nick Khan.

Sounds like Vince is onboarding himself and getting up to speed on the stories. Hopefully we can at least make it through tonight before he decides to become employee of the month, every month again. lol

certainly a much better option than the Saudis Yup, the only real questionable element is if WWE content would remain on Peacock, or if Endeavor would strive to push WWE back into the $50 per PLE/PPV market. If they try to do the whole "$50 per big event" thing again, then Vince won't be let back into the creative office as WWE would have a much tougher time selling people on $50 PPVs if we get Vince level writing and mannerisms back.

Ironically Nick Khan did mention last week going to the UFC on ESPN Plus model was very possible

Holy f***ing shit
I genuinely can't find the words to sum up how surreal the idea of WWE and UFC merging in to one public company is.

I don't think monthly $50 PPVs can ever come back. Not after fans have spent a decade conditioned to getting everything for 9.99 a month. They could get away with doing Rumble/Mania/Summerslam/Survivor Series on PPV but every month? I think that would be a really hard sell for most of the B shows.

I'm not sure how I feel about this
I mean... it's better than if the Saudi's bought it
but.. I never really got into UFC at all, so if I'm' going to have to sign up for a streaming service with only WWE and UFC stuff for something crazy per month....

It does say a lot about the candidates involved that Endeavor buying WWE would be the least bad option out of them and Saudi Arabia.
Like, it’s sort of a big sports monopoly and the future of the company can be real uncertain considering rumors of merging it in a company with UFC but at the very least, they won’t be trying to making an absolute monarchy look progressive 365 days a year.
It’s just about a win.

I get the feeling that Triple H is gonna be outed from his position real soon. I don't think so. You would likely see a locker room revolt at this point, which would result in a serious talent drain. Which Endeavor would like to prevent, I imagine.
