Stock is likely going to take a massive hit with this as well I suspect the news breaking after close was intentional.

So the SmackDown thread's gonna be more than just the same five people, huh?

It's going to be interesting to see how the WWE product is going to change in the coming weeks and months with Vince no longer being involved. I wouldn't be surprised if things end up being a lot different in many aspects both in the on-screen product and what goes on behind-the-scenes.

As long as Vince is still alive, you ain't gonna see the likes of Dunn or Prichard go anywhere, unless they do so voluntarily. Remember how when Vince bought the company, his dad ensured that Arnold Skaaland, Pat Patterson and Gorilla Monsoon would always have a job as long as they wanted it? I would think Vince would do the same for his people, too. yeah but the three people mentioned even if they were kept on at his dads request, all three had huge things to offer to the betterment of the company. Yes, but that's neither here nor there. As long as Vince is still walking amongst the living, Dunn and Prichard are safe. Whether they actually contribute anything or not has nothing to do with it.

It'll be years before we see change. Vince's stuff is too entrenched and they aren't stupid enough to New Blood/Millionaires' Club this thing.

I just realized, commentary now has one less screaming insane old man in their headset. Oh damn. Graves back to his NXT work, Cole being tolerable like Beast in the East. Abusers out, tolerable commentary, no Brock, maybe the camera doesn't cut so often. I might be able to start watching again.

There's already gossip backstage that Kevin Dunn is on his way out. Vince having to step down like this, gives him no real leverage at all, even if he is the majority shareholder. He could try and keep them on, but I think if it gets out he's trying this stuff while he's "retired", it'll result in him losing a ton of money as share prices tank.

OK, short term - what happens tonight, next week and at SummerSlam, especially if rumor is true and Brock has gone home?
