Given the nature of this, I sincerely would hold my excitement, because who knows who is actually going to be in charge and what moves are actually going to immediately change I'd also settle for a different product that doesn't hit the same because what's hitting now kinda sucks tbh... change up ANYTHING... WWE has had a pretty great 2022 I’d say. Good business numbers. All the PLEs have been good. Some fun stories, but there’s some forgettable stuff too. I do think we’re gonna see a change since Vince is no longer calling the ultimate shots and a more mature programming will see some differences too. "WWE's had a pretty great 2022" the user says as Vince has to step down for being outed as a sex pest with Johnny Ace... Yeah I'll just go ahead and wait to see if anything changes lol |

Wow. I didn't think this day would come. I thought he would die before retiring. This is insane. Mr. McMahon is done with the company that he founded & built. He's stepping down from his executive position, but there's nothing about him retiring from creative. I hope that's next. Congrats to Stephanie McMahon & Nick Khan for their full-time promotion. Knowing Vince, he will give himself a retirement ceremony on Smackdown tonight or better fitting on Raw in MSG on Monday.

Something tells me he'll still be running things in the shadows even if it's not in an official capacity.
If he sells his voting shares, then that gives me a raised eyebrow. But I might be a cynic but I don't think this really changes whole lot in WWE at least in the short term.

Vince's statement reads as a lot of company speak and that "It was totally my plan to retire RIGHT NOW guys" when we all know it isn't the case

I don't even care about creative. Raw can be two hours of Dolph Ziggler shaking his ass and an hour of recaps of Dolph Ziggler ass shake highlights for all I care. But the reprehensible man who abused his station to sexually exploit women, who allegedly helped cover up a murder, and who very definitely got his wrestlers on steroids, is finally gone. This was never about Roman Reigns being pushed over Sin Cara or whatever.
