It’s a no-win situation for Triple H. Either he has these meetings to try and reassure the talent (who are almost certainly all reading the same news and rumours that we are) that he’s still in charge of Creative and gets accused of lying about the situation, or he doesn’t have them, which will get taken as tangible proof that he’s been white-anted out of the position. The only way we can be sure is if we put truth serum into his water bottle, and that might lead to more info than we want to know "AND I WAS THE ONE WHO SUGGESTED THE GLADIATOR GIMMICK FOR RON SIMMONS AND I'D DO IT AGAIN IF I HAD THE CHANCE! Are they still moving into the new building? How is that factoring into potential buyers? It would be pretty costly to go through all of the trouble of moving into the new place just before your new owners tell you to relocate.

Imagine being the boss of a company where nearly everyone both inside and outside agrees that things are much better without you, but you have no humility whatsoever to hear that and stay away for the good of the business. Vince either delusionally thinks everyone but him, including the fans, are doing it wrong, or else this is a pure spite move because there was so much positive buzz about the creative the moment he left and now he has to punish everyone. Well in Vince's mind he's the one who built the WWE into what it is today. And while that statement is technically true there's a lot of context missing. Still Vince is thinking that he did it before he can still do it now. |

Man, this ongoing saga has completely killed my interest in even looking up current WWE results. I have the last two Smackdowns and the last Raw on my DVR and just zero interest to even fastforward to the talent I like (and in December I honestly liked the vast majority of what both programs offered).
On top of not wanting to support a product with a re-elected chairman who was outed convincingly as a rapist, I'm getting the vibes that the shows will slowly have no consistency, needless repetition, and nothing mattering killing my interest to get invested in the new turns.
Anyone else just had the wind taken out of their WWE sails to the point of even killing passive watching?

I do wonder what system, if any, is in place to stop Vince just firing talent he doesn't like again without consulting with Hunter like we saw during the Covid and NXT 2.0 purges. He doesn't have to officially be the head of creative to take a hatchet to booking plans if he can just purge in the name of cost cutting before any proposed sale.
