Rich white people always win in America, that’s why Vince will get away with whatever crazy plan he goes forth with. Not when you are messing with other rich peoples money. Which is exactly what Vince is doing right now. There are investment firms who have money in WWE. If he screws them over, it's likely he gets nailed by the feds.

Imagine being the boss of a company where nearly everyone both inside and outside agrees that things are much better without you, but you have no humility whatsoever to hear that and stay away for the good of the business. Vince either delusionally thinks everyone but him, including the fans, are doing it wrong, or else this is a pure spite move because there was so much positive buzz about the creative the moment he left and now he has to punish everyone.

so... how long before the pretence of a sale is dropped and vince admits he has taken back full control and is charge of everything up to when employees & independent contractors go to the loo, a week? two weeks? tomorrow? If he drops the pretense, he'll get sued by shareholders and the authorities as it would become clear he just pretended to be lining up a sale to get back on the board without crashing the stock price. He'll likely wait to get offers then crash the deals unless they're REALLY good or offer to keep him in charge. so... how long before the pretence of a sale is dropped and vince admits he has taken back full control and is charge of everything up to when employees & independent contractors go to the loo, a week? two weeks? tomorrow? A sale kinda has to happen at this point, if just for the fact that it was the sole reason he said he was coming back. If he decides not to sell, then he's gonna be buried in lawsuits because stock price will crater. And Jerry McDevitt has already told Vince that he's retiring, which doesn't bode well for Vince's chances of actually beating these lawsuits. That's ignoring the fact that the SEC will likely reopen an investigation into Vince's behavior as well. while the SEC will go for vince if he doesn't sell, they've said from the first announcement that vince was back on the board that it was a possibility that there wouldn't be a sale and he was back to facilitate a possible deal and that could be enough to save him from lawsuits from shareholders as they have always said there was a possibility of the company not being sold.

Hunter: For some reason my "Vince isn't going to affect the product" shirt is raising a lot of questions already answered by the shirt.

It’s a no-win situation for Triple H. Either he has these meetings to try and reassure the talent (who are almost certainly all reading the same news and rumours that we are) that he’s still in charge of Creative and gets accused of lying about the situation, or he doesn’t have them, which will get taken as tangible proof that he’s been white-anted out of the position.

Pretty much. I get that they’d have these meetings, but at the same time if fans(who probably haven’t even scratched the surface of Vinsanity) don’t believe it I can only imagine what the talent that had to deal with that maniac every day thinks. lol

This is the loop hole I am thinking saves him. If he willingly negotiates and listens to offers...then some may be like well he was willing to sell even if he did not end up doing so. Idk how likely that would be to save his ass from people thinking he faked this just to get back his power because I was thinking there had to be some loop hole with him listening to offers making it look like he was totally willing to sell but he ultimately doesn't. There really isn't any sort of loophole he can exploit here. If he intentionally shoots down all the deals just to stay in power, stockholders will sue him. Because it's pretty clear he's toxic to the company and if Vince gets a good offer, he has no choice but to sell, otherwise he would be in violation of his fiduciary duty. Which could be a federal crime. But yeah, if he gets an offer over WWE's market cap (which is currently $6.65B), he's going to be heavily pressured to accept it, otherwise he's gonna get in trouble. And when buying out a company, its generally good practice to buy out the stocks at a premium. So right now WWE stock is roughly $90. If Comcast for example offers to buy out all the stocks at $120 per share, Vince would be heavily pressured into selling. Failure to do so would result in him being found in violation of his fiduciary duty. Yeah, it's just like the twitter board and Elon... Jack allegedly didn't want to sell but if he turned down an offer that was almost 3 times the valuation of the company he'd have been sued into oblivion by the other stockholders.
