I'm curious what the ratings will be for LIV Golf I know golf and wrestling are two very different things and have very different audiences, but I think the ratings can be kind of a sign to see how many people are willing to watch their favorite golfers play while they are getting paid in blood money if it tanks in the ratings maybe WWE and other companies will think twice about selling/making a tv deal with the propaganda machine It's on the CW, which is a network very few people actually watch to begin with. |

The problem with LIV Golf had less to do with Saudi Blood Money and more to do with the fact that almost every other major network has some sort of agreement with the PGA Tour, a direct competitor. The CW was one of the few networks that didn't have any ties to the PGA Tour. |

Vince comes back and then we're right back into mass layoffs. It's really stunning how much Vince's greed plays almost as bad a part as his ego in the company's own destruction. Got to cut costs down before a sale so Vince takes home a more attractive majority of a giant, bloated pie he doesn't deserve! Sexual assault is just an encumbrance. The boss should be able to put his dick anywhere and then also lay people off despite how well the company is doing, which is good but not as good as when he f***ed off and things actually became good.

If Vince is speedrunning this can we skip to the new sports entertainment style WWE successor company with the 60% of the roster he cut last time having a place to go so AEW doesn't get overstuffed any more?

I'd say the mass releases will happen sometime after Wrestlemania when their version of Spring cleaning rolls around. That's usually when it happens.

Depends on when they sell. Khan said it’s going to be not a long process. So if a sale is imminent in the next month or so they’re going to start cutting to maximize the profit.

I think Saudi Arabia would have SOME effect on WWE's popularity at first but I think it will largely come down to how heavy handed they are with managing the product and sharing propaganda. If nothing on air changes, I think there will be a short term dip that will largely recover. If there are changes, it could be a lot worse.

Hearing the audio versus reading the transcript of what Nick Khan says is fascinating because it reminded me of John Cena's promos over the years.
In terms of audio and delivery, Nick Khan, like John Cena, is a good talker, doesn't fumble over words, always able to find the word needed to string thoughts together. The "how" comes across as being media-presentable.
But if you actually scrutinize the substance of what was actually said, Nick Khan, like John Cena, is a bad promo, and everything he says is corporate speak at best and horseshit nonsense at worst. The "what" comes across as empty calories.
I honestly can't tell if Khan's interview was more hubris about himself, Vince McMahon, and WWE as a corporate business entity, and even thinking that doing an interview with Bill Simmons was a good idea, or a subtle, public effort to sabotage VKM at some point down the line.
