Like…this is the same interview where Faber told him Comcast wasn’t interested. It says a lot right now about the status of things that the only people have shown public interest in putting in a bid is the man who owns and runs your rival. If I were a shareholder, I’d think three months is ridiculously optimistic. |

It says a lot right now about the status of things that the only people have shown public interest in putting in a bid is the man who owns and runs your rival. If I were a shareholder, I’d think three months is ridiculously optimistic. I think it’s more that negotiations for the new TV deals are going to start by April/May, so if a sale is not going to happen, they’re just going to move forward with the TV deals, and the sale will probably no longer be an option. |

This entire sale thing feels really nakedly like Vince only did it as an excuse to regain power and he's trying to expedite the process so much and set the price so unreasonably high that he can go, "Oh, well, I tried!" when he inevitably abandons it.
