Could be true but also keep in mind Wrestlevotes is a banned source.

I think that the end game is still for Vince to either sell to Saudi and resume full control or not sell and resume full control.
Regardless it should be interesting as we get closer to and immediately after WM. At some point the lid is going to blow off of this pressure cooker.

Either way, Vince is going to regain power. That's what it's looking like.

It was a pipe dream that Vince flippin' McMahon would just ride off into the sunset and retire to the amoral abusers old folks home.
Let's just be glad he was 'gone' as long as he was.

I could see a situation where Brock requested that Vince be the one to book all of his stuff specifically. We know how Brock feels about Vince

WrestleVotes is a tough one to read. Has certainly had reliable information before but when they miss they tend to miss spectacularly.

So I definitely think that is exactly the case. Maybe part of a deal or side deal to get Brock back after said walkout?

This got sent to all the shareholders and basically confirms what we know already; Vince, Michelle and George are replacing the three board members who quit and the expected byline changes, where Vince gets final say over any sell of the company, have gone through.

Translation: Endeavor said “Nah”. Which basically leaves The other Khans as the only public bidders and Saudi Arabia as the not so public ones. Either Khans or Saudi Arabia buying would be the most insane falloff and incredible reactions Would both be bad for wrestling as a whole?also yes.

This is just being sent as informational to stockholders basically saying what’s already happened. The bylaw changes were repealed on January 16th (because Vince did what he needed to do when he made the bylaw changes on January 5th).

I think the longer this goes, the more likely it is the Saudi's just help Vince take it private, he returns to power and we get Omos vs. Azeez in the main event of SummerSlam this year.

At least if the Khans buy it they'd probably care more about the back catalog.

Is there a Cliff's Notes version as to why Vince and the rest are so eager to sell in the first place? I just can't seem to wrap my mind around it.

Maximize profit due to the uncertain nature of the future of TV and streaming? It does feel out of character for Vince to want to sell and do nothing though, which makes it seem like maybe he’s just angling to get back in control with as little blowback as possible.

I've much rather have the Khan's buy it
I also feel Vince is making the price so insanely high that no one, not even his blood money partners, will want it
the smoke screen of selling is a ruse just so he could get back in power imo

I'd hate the Khans to buy it. Much of the problems post-WCW have been due to the monopoly WWE have had on the pro wrestling scene, and I wouldn't want to see that get duplicated again.

Compared to the Saudis getting it? Also, I understand thinking there will be bad downstream consequences, but not specifically the worry that creativity and innovation will plummet in televised wrestling if one family owns the two biggest companies. Like, I seriously just can't trace the logic. AEW and WWE aren't even competing with one another; they're competing with the other shows in their time slots.

The Khans buying WWE is a better situation than the Saudi government. But that's a real "better to get shot in the head than meticulously chopped into pieces" situation.
