I've much rather have the Khan's buy it I also feel Vince is making the price so insanely high that no one, not even his blood money partners, will want it the smoke screen of selling is a ruse just so he could get back in power imo Exactly what I have been saying since this began. The always sticking point is going to be that he remains in full controll. So if he sells it is because the buyer has agreed to the hell bargin. If he doesn't sell...oh well (press release no one met our criteria etc but we tried) he remains in controll anyways and takes back full creative control. |

The Khans buying WWE is a better situation than the Saudi government. But that's a real "better to get shot in the head than meticulously chopped into pieces" situation. Precisely, both of them are outcomes that are not ideal by any stretch. You definitely don't want the Sauds to get their hands on it, but you also don't want to the Khans having a monopoly on the wrestling business. |

The two outcomes that are coming from this is that the Saudis own it or a sale doesn’t happen and we’re just back to Vince being CEO and head of creative and it’d be like the last year barely happened.
Because for as much as we’re like “Hey, the Khans are rich, they could do it”, we’re talking about $8bn value here, that would be a hell of a consortium to make that happen.
Manchester United, a football team with more brand recognition in the biggest sports league on the planet with legacy coming out of the wazoo, is struggling to be sold at about $5-7bn. And hell, like WWE, their fate might involve the other oil rich Middle Eastern nation with a questionable human rights record.
