Potentially. Triple H was obviously willing to push smaller guys in NXT. But part of why he was there was to take out the indies and ROH. NXT had a purpose. And taking those guys and keeping them happy was part of that. Now do I think he's more open minded than Vince? Sure. But Hunter also made some weird choices himself with how he pushed guys like Kross and Roode. And Hunter was definitely a body guy when he was a performer. Just look at the way he treated Kurt back in the day. So I think it could alter a few things but not dramatically over night.

Most of the regular guys (Roman, Seth, Drew, Cody) are guys HHH likes. Some NXT projects (Theory, Gunther, Bianca, Moss) are already getting good pushes.
I can’t see too much difference. Besides Sasha maybe coming back and less comedy stuff (24/7 title, less Ezekiel) possibly.

I think there'll still be plenty of comedy stuff, because they did a lot of it in the black and gold era. It just won't be that terrible Vince kind of humor like Otis puking.

For as much influence as Triple H had on the Hall of Fame in the past decade, I wonder what will happen now with Vince gone. With the concussion lawsuit over with and the old man not around to talk about "bad business" from thirty or forty years ago, perhaps Hunter will take more control of the ceremony and get Demolition, Ivan Koloff, Ken Patera, King Kong Bundy, and so on inducted.

With Mr McMahon gone(aka the Arch Rival of Mr. America) a true American Hero like Lacey Evans will start to get the respect she deserves.

I see a slow shift in how the women are booked, for sure, as HHH and Steph will move away from constantly pushing women based only on their appearance. NXT black and gold had a tremendous women's division. They also had a large number of female prospects who got cut during covid. I could see some of them making a return. We'll also be free of Vince and Dunn's weird hatred of women with accents. Even if not on a Mandy Rose level, a strong majority of the pushed women still had fairly stereotypical beauty to them.

One or both of those titles are coming off Roman sooner rather than later. He’ll probably be moved into Brock’s “part-time final boss” role but they need to have the champions back on tv and Roman’s contract simply prohibits that.

I hope Triple H is a Liv fan... If anything I think she might get even more of a push. HHH has his own faults as a booker, but she's really over and he usually listens to the fans (I say usually because he was pretty stubborn when it came to Kross and Raquel)

I’ve heard talk of this elsewhere, dumbest thing I’ve heard is that this is bad for guys like Miz, Truth and Ziggler, which I doubt highly.
I wouldn’t say they would get bigger pushes, but I don’t see any of them as purely Vince guys.
If they were smart, they would have someone (coughMaximumMaleModelscough) ditch their current gimmick and talk about how “the old man” isn’t there to screw them over anymore.

I can see Io Shirai getting called up and pushed as a main figure in the women's main event scene. She's attractive, incredibly skilled in the ring, and very PR friendly. Triple H also likes her, which is a bonus.

HHH has his own faults as a booker, but she's really over and he usually listens to the fans (I say usually because he was pretty stubborn when it came to Kross and Raquel) Apparently she was hired as a result of working out at a gym that was owned by HHH and Stephanie's personal trainer. So I'm guessing he must like her at least somewhat since I assume he was the one that was probably tipped off about her. When it comes to how HHH booked NXT's women's division and who he pushed there then I would say that would be a bad sign for Liv in that the women who got big pushes there when was in charge were real high level workrate girls or physically imposing bad asses. Liv doesn't fall into either of those boats. However like you said if she stays over I think she'll be fine. I remember an interview with him where I think he was talking about Enzo and Cass and basically said something along the lines of well I don't get it at all but it's over and people like it so I'm going to push them because that's what's most important.

While I think Liv's push will be somewhat sustained for now, I do think if women like Io come up, Liv is gonna get ran over. Because while Io isn't an underdog, she is incredibly flashy, and has an edge to her character that Liv completely lacks. And fans like to gravitate towards characters who display at least a bit of edge.

And fans like to gravitate towards characters who display at least a bit of edge. If she resigns and gets called up then she would most likely be someone who would be figured in. As far as other effects I can see Raquel and Rhea getting big pushes and bigger roles and Asuka getting more of a high level main event push as apposed to the fringe main eventer-upper midcarder role she's currently in. Those four (three if Io doesn't resign) along with the perennial main eventers that are always taken care of in Charlotte, Becky, Bayley, Ronda, Bianca, and Sasha (if she comes back) will probably be the focal points going forward as far as the people who are in the title pictures goes. Liv and Alexa are the two biggest mysteries for me. Neither strike me as the types Triple H would push but both are over. I do think that women with and edge are definitely the types that get over which is evident in the most popular women in recent years like Sasha, Becky, Asuka, and even Alexa who is snarky and has some attitude. However Liv has sustained popularity so I don't it's that much of an issue. Also while she doesn't have much of an edge personality wise I would say her look is kind of edgy with the black leather outfits she wears. I do think a lot of her overness along with being naturally likeable comes from fans feeling bad for her because she wasn't given anything and wasn't being used as well as she should've. If she's allowed to hold onto the title for a while and get a sustained push at the top of the card it will be interesting to see if the fans stick with her. I guess a lot of it will depend on who she's booked against. Currently she's on the opposite brand from all the popular women (Becky, Alexa, Asuka, Bianca) so that's good. Getting cheered against Charlotte, Ronda, and Lacey shouldn't be a problem at all. However with the draft likely coming up soon that could change.

I think while Liv might remain reasonably popular, I don't think she'll be holding a title again after she drops this current one, at least under the new regime. It doesn't help that if Io does sign a new deal (and I think she will, now that Vince is out of the picture), and gets moved up, she'll probably end up as the top face or heel for whatever brand she ends up on. Bianca is already stalling out, and Liv can't just banana peel her way to victory constantly either. On the flipside, Charlotte is eternally stale, and Becky's heel turn failed because WWE couldn't pull the trigger on her being in a kayfabe slump. But she doesn't need to be the champion either.

I'd expect former NXT folks to get a boost from this. I think this has to be good news for many of the women who haven't been getting much to work with. Shotzi, Xia Li, Raquel, Doudrop, Nikki Cross. Get Io moved up right away. On the men's side, Ciampa, Balor, Priest, Max Dupri LA Knight, hopefully Mustafa Ali too.
If Vince truly isn't going to be involved, I really believe we're going to see big changes. Steph and H have been waiting for their opportunity to take the reigns, and I think they're going to make change for the better.

There's no f***** way that now that Steph and HHH have some power, they would even pretend to care about Kevin Dunn and respect anything coming from his vision Nobody can be that good of a liar and tell with a straight face that he's some kind of genius and knows how to produce any shit I know when Vince and Co went on the massive release HHH's people phase. HHH had a guy who was set to take over Dunn. I hope he can call him and bring him back.

Summerslam is gonna be pretty telling for the direction of the women going forward....because who knows if the plans that we have heard before will still be the plans anymore.
Like I fully expect Bayley is returning here soon and will immediately feud with Becky whether she has the title or not and if that is the case I can then see Io slotted into facing Bianca out the gate UNLESS some wooing ensues which idk how likely since FOX for some reason REALLY wanted Charlotte in the first place.
If Io stays (which seems very likely now with the change over) I can see something like Liv beats Ronda at summerslam(by f***ery of course) and then debuting a heel Io immediately and having her beat Liv for the title.
