Who are some wrestling figures who had Ring attire that they never wore? For example, LJN Piper has Red tights, while LJN Hillbilly Jim has a red shirt over his overalls.

I'm guessing we're not including fantasy based lines like STOMP. If so, I remember they all wore long tights, even guys like Shamrock.

wtf was this You know how there are videos out there of small things that trigger people? The sort of things like someone cutting a cake the wrong way or putting coloured pencils in the wrong slot. Yeah this just makes me furious.

wtf was this I believe this is what's known, in "the trade", as having a load of leftover Big Show bodies and just using them instead of making a new one.

There was a guy with Jakks, not sure if still there, named Jeremy who was like the "man" in charge and he would post on Wrestling Figs that the first series of Classic had to use budget cuts to be able to ensure guys like Warrior would be able to get a contract. So Andre was one of them that used a recycled body. It's really a shame since Andre was such a huge star that he saw three really bad mistakes in figure form-the Jakks Classic, the Jakks 1998 legend with the wrong side strap and the LJN with the wrong side strap.

On the brightside, we live in a world now where we're getting Andre figures like this soon:

Who could forget the time Shawn Michaels wore Lance Storm's ECW/WCW gear at WM25 in his iconic match with The Undertaker? It was from 2009 when Jakks threw in the towel because they were losing the license to Mattel. I imagine they went with tights because it was part of the formula for his CS Screwjob figure, but the color scheme is beyond me. Also Shawn is taller than Taker because Jakks.

Jakks was truly awful at the tail end. Just the epitome of no f***s given. Rey Mysterio's figures were hilarious.

wtf was this It's called Jakks being lazy. They struggled for YEARS to get figures proportionate since they preferred to instead try to make as many different figures with 4 torsos as possible. So let's see, we have Andre with the two strap singlet, wrist tape and knee pads. Oh and he's also holding a title he technically never held since it's a later version. He's also missing his sideburns, but that can be overlooked. What's funny is Jakks said they would "correct" this in a later run Series 6, however they again got lazy and while they corrected the singlet and the kneepads, they just used the same wrist mold, so it looks like Andre has very saggy skin on his wrists. They also painted his nipple on for some reason, the only figure they did that for. And anyone who bought this figure was a sucker, since Jakks has already released pictures of the next Andre figure that was going to be in Series 7, which was by far the best figure they made of him. This one is one of my favorites since they just used an old Kane mold and Paul Bearer towers over both of them.

I forgot they did the Machine Andre where they didn't paint his legs black. Jakks was probably the worst for cutting corners. When they could be great they were (like real scan head scans were very good looking) but right before then they had the Titan Tron Live guys whose heads looked like something meant for a "gross out" line like Toybiz did with WCW, just smaller.

Piper did wear red trunks sometimes around 85-86 when his LJN was released.

I mean, I'm pretty sure Jeff Jarrett never wore a shirt that said, "Don't Tick Me Off!."

Jeff Jarrett also was never Owen Hart with a shitty little goatee. Here's another confusing BCA: I think they wanted to show kids that he had the new Nation-era Rock logo, so they gave him long tights (he still has the open back calves on the boots so it looks very strange in-person). The figure is Rocky from the Champions 4-pack but with black boots, otherwise. Truly a bizarre choice. They'd go on to make plenty of plain-front Rock figures a year later. Here's some more blunders from '09: Apologize for the quality, they're from my ancient cellphone screen taken in TRU, but they began leaving off deco on many figures, so we got John Cena is his classic plain red t-shirt and all-black Randy Orton. The funniest blunder from this time period was Mark Henry in a tight little speedo: They were using a cloth singlet for him at the time since they had the body made already, so that's why he's just in his drawers. He technically wore a speedo once on tv, but it was a red one for a backstage hot tub segment. I'll never forget that memory...

That Rocky looks like a re release on a WM XV card. The original toy was made for Shotgun Saturday Night which had a few odd balls like the Godwinns in repainted shirts (PIG long sleeve, HOG short) with the flag logos. They only ever wore no sleeve shirts with the flag. Of course Jakks couldn't make new arms for them. Savio also had a thicker top on like his red face and NOD black shirts so Jakks simply repainted his shirt a plain white.
