There's a poll in the WWE section so I decided to make one here, too.
I'm not as versed in AEW as others but I'd say Emi has entertained me the most when it comes to the women. Jamie, Athena and Ruby are also up there, for me.

Purely in ring, Deeb leaves most in the dust.

Shida easily to me. I know her reign was meh in terms of story but just about every match she had was awesome. Can really switch to a ton of intensity when it calls for it.

Shida and Deeb in ring. Hayter, Riho, and Toni Storm are up there too. For guest workers, Yuka is really good.

It’s Deeb, Mercedes, Emi, and Riho. And out of the three, Riho is the most consistently entertaining.
My favorite is Hayter though.

I went Riho as my number one, but yeah, can't argue with that. Shida's right behind them.

Damn that’s a big list of women when only two at most matter.

Serena Deeb, followed closely by Hikaru Shida, IMHO.

I think Riho is the most spectacular but Deeb is all around the best wrestler and elevates her opponents more than most folks in the industry today.

Yuka, mostly because I can watch her against great opponents regularly outside aew.
Deeb is probably the best but rarely gets to show it in a high profile match, same goes for many others. Some I've barely seen in any match for quite some time.
They've assembled a good roster, it's time to take the brakes off and let the bigger names face each other more regularly. Tbf they might have started.

Purely on skill probably Deeb but in the same grouping is Shida, Statlander, Hayter, Yuka, Riho, and Athena.

I really wanted to put Hayter there too because she’s really good, just would like to see them do more one on one matches with her. I suppose at the end of the day if we’re just talking in ring “skill” it doesn’t matter, but it does influence your view.

Riho is a great seller and babyface. She can whip the crowd into a frenzy during her comebacks, I love watching her work. Wish she would wrestle Jade.

I voted Deeb, but I can really see the argument for Riho. Riho is really good in a way that always sneaks up on me, like I know full well that she's beyond good, and then I'm still surprised at how good some of her matches have turned out. One of those wrestlers who really brings her opponents up to her level.

I frankly don't consider Sakazaki a member of the roster at this point, or I would have voted for her.
I gotta say Martinez, she is similar to Deeb in the sense that they can both have a good match with anyone, but I think Mercedes has more fire. Emi and Shida are both reeeaaallll close though.
